Do you respect shotgun rushers?
What's your opinion on people who ONLY use shotguns to get most of their kills? Once again what's your OPINION on the subject. Be as disrespectful as you want in your opinion on shotgun users if you choose to

Yes, as a sniper main I fear the flanking shotgunner, and I'm not good enough to pull it off.

I don't look to gain respect from someone in a game I don't even know. It's PvP. I don't give a Damn if someone has a problem with mine or anyone elses loadout. You should use or abuse whatever it takes to win. It's just a video game.

It's useful, quick and effective Gets the game over quicker and is much more fun Majority of the time I snipe but when I feel like bring the heat shotgun comes out and you will die

I used to be a shotgun rusher but i have recently switched to sniping, although I'm only ok at best. So i slightly respect them but at the same time i rage when i get killed by one..

Not really, because they rely on 3-4 specific shotguns to do what they do. If I am killed by something that doesn't fit the meta it's worth respecting. In a similar way to being killed by NLB as oppose to a ldr

I can't give an opinion since I hang back, and slowly circle the map with my longgun, and cover lanes, waiting for a free headshot.

All the warlock blink shotgunners all switched to titans with near max agility with shoulder charge and shotguns and if they need to back off before charging again, theyll just throw a lightning grenade that blows up a million times with a huge aoe. Very effective but fuçking annoying. And with that, I've said so many times, "you could have had a chance at living if you used your primary had you not tried to come at me from halfway across the map; what an idiot."

I think if it were that simple then everyone would do it. I have tried it and i still don't fare well. I am ok with the fact that someone is better than me in a game. It's cool. He got the kill, maybe i'll kill him next time. It's all good in my book. Now, BUFF shotties in pve! haha

Smart shotgunners know how to stay out of sniper lanes. Most snipers are looking for other snipers.

It depends on how they use their shotgun. If they go invis, I dislike them & will often tbag quite thoroughly. If they don't go invis, much respect.

Bearbeitet von Spidey: 5/2/2016 9:31:01 PMShotguns are easy to use in a game that has the mobility this game does, coupled with the slow as hell look speed, up and down particularly, of this game (why so many people will jump or blink at you with shotgun, in particular, or any weapon in general, because by the time they can look up, it's way too late). However it isn't a question of respect or not. This is just a fact. Anything else is just trash talk.

No, when someone doesn't switch weapons the whole match that gains no respect. Doesn't matter which special it is. If you mix it up though and outplay me then yes you will gain my respect.

Sometimes I go full shotgun. Lately I've been abusing Telesto. Generally, most of my kills are special and melee. Destiny isn't a good game for primaries.

Yes, because as a shotgun runner i know that its hard as hell to gets kills against snipers from 25+ feet and if you dont shoot your shot at exactly the right time you either get a hitmarker or you die and boy is it frustrating

Yes, I've tried to do it but I get killed just about every time. Especially in this Iron Banner, they have all earned my respect.
