22 Antworten30fps is better for racing games, shooter games, and any 3rd person game. 60fps is really only useful if you're playing a game by yourself because then you're stealing frames from other players, that's why 30fps is more common and more useful.
-
Nah man, it's all about that 24 fps. I like my games to look cinematic. The human eye can't see past 25 fps anyway. Kappa
-
It's only terrible if the game isn't optimized for 30fps, Destiny does 30fps well enough it isn't an issue, it just seems sluggish due to the gunplay.
-
1 Antworten60fps is objectively superior to 30fps

4 AntwortenI dont understand the huge push for 1080p games and now for 4k, personally i see next to no difference when it comes to these ridiculously high resolutions. Frame rate on the other hand i feel is far more important, it simply makes a game feel smoother. I still have no problem with playing at 30fps, but i feel like the concentration should be on getting all games to run at 60fps instead of trying to get them up to 1080p. A game running at 60fps and at around 700-800p still looks and feels better than a game running at 30fps and at 1080p.
-
Yeah, whenever I encounter a game running at 30fps I can't play it. I was fine with 60 but ever since I picked up a 144hz monitor 60 kinda looks choppy.
-
1 Antworten60 is always better than 30.
-
I don't mind both, I'm just put off when I go from 30 to 60 then back to 30 with a game or series (Skyrim and Fallout 4 is a good example of this) Started at 30 for Skyrim then got it on PC for around 60, went back to console for the last achievements and to set my save up ready to port it to PC, well it drove me mad at how slow it was Then there was NV which with the extras and cybernetics I had made my movement more lose (kind of like Halo 5s) so when it came to Fallout 4 I just felt caged

Bearbeitet von ALIAS-F4LS: 5/3/2016 3:29:09 PMDon't really have a problem with either but 60 does feel smoother to play and seems to help me a little in situations where 30 would have me doomed via pvp
-
Yea 30fps sucks pretty bad for gaming
-
Yeah, anything 30 above I'm great with. I've learned to appreciate frames over the years.
-
7 AntwortenReally? It may be just me, but the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS is rather minimal.
-
Don't really notice, tbh
-
1 AntwortenThere is no excuse for 30FPS in 2016.
-
The more action in my game the higher the frame rate I want it to it, simple as that.
-
Yeah I've notice that games look Bette Ron my 4K TV too, mine force upscales to 1980
-
2 AntwortenI play Destiny (30 FPS) and CoD (60 FPS) and on my tv I see no difference. I play on my brother's 4K Ultra-HD tv and Destiny looks beautiful with the forced increased resolution. The only thing I don't like is, I feel I have to increase my sensitivity when playing on 4K UHD.
-
It depends on the game for me. For games like Fallout 4 and Assassins Creed where the pacing is fairly slow, 30fps is good enough for me. In faster paced FPS games though, I strongly prefer 60fps; though I'm not to PCMR levels of demanding nothing less than 144fps. It annoys me when people say that you can't see above 30fps because they are misunderstanding the cinematography concept where taking still images and playing them back sequentially at a speed of 24 "frames per second" are an equal representation of what the human eye naturally sees.
-
9 AntwortenIf you have played games under the PC with 100+ FPS coming back to games like Destiny is pretty difficult to get used to and especially the horrid FOV that destiny has (Tunnel - vision)
-
8 Antworten60. I can't play destiny at all since i started Warframe. But i just laugh at those who demand higher. I'm like: you realize that the human eye has a limit right? Once you pass that limit, your eye won't be able to tell the difference.
-
Wow really, destiny is one of those really smooth 30 fps. I have no problem. Wait what console are you on and what TV?
-
30 FPS is tolerable, but not preferred. 60 FPS is much better and smoother, and should be attained whenever possible.
-
I honestly couldn't care less. As long as it's not consistently below 30 I will be happy
-
I find it unbearable as well but it has nothing to do with 30fps
-
1 AntwortenI was playing Halo 5 all night, and then I jumped onto Destiny afterwards, and swear I could see the frames skipping. Your brain gets used to the 60fps.
-
7 Antworten60 is cool, but in DS2 and Bborne, it introduced a weapon durability bug. So 30 fps A-OK.
