Cant say it's been an issue on Destiny generally for me, the odd idiot here amd there, but on Division matchmaking, I have lost count of the amount of times I have been booted off fireteams before the mission/dark zone has even started (nobody using mics). It's not down to armour or dz ranking as there are only a small portion of players similar or above, so go figure, maybe some guys would rather just play with guys..
