How Has Everyone Levelled Up So Damned Fast
In the first two weeks I did CoE on all characters, a run or two of kings fall, and gotten multiple packages. Yet I've only gone up two levels whereas in less time people have hit 335. What am I doing wrong?

Faction rank, trials, coe. All of mine are 333+ if I switch around ghost and weapons. Haven't run raid once.

I have two warlocks so what I do is do the hard raid then switch all my gear I will need over to my other warlock and do the raid on her so I then I give every thing to my other warlock infuse and bam 330 on my first week :) 330 second week 334 this week

Man that sucks, first week I was 330 on all three characters. A former friend of mine after two weeks had only gone up 5 light levels on all three of his. Dude actually got pissed at my drops and doesn't talk to me anymore.

Why is everyone so happy about this? Its boring. Its boring doing the raid and hearing people excited for 335 gloves. I would rather hear them mildly dissapointed getting 305 gloves if they had 320 gloves. Or getting 320 gloves and having 300 and they knew they would have to get another pair or 2.

2 AntwortenDon't just cash in packages randomly. Make sure you have your highest light gear equipped, then cash it in. Same for exotic engrams. Things now decrypt based on your light. If you're decrypting with low light gear on then you're gonna get low light stuff. Anytime you're getting a reward always have you're highest stuff equipped. Follow things and you'll have 335s in no time, only took me a week to get my Titans there. Hunters at 334 with this method to.

I've never completed KF raid because I didn't care for it. But all my guys are 334 and 335. You need to just do COE and farm exotics. [spoiler]Most importantly have fun :)[/spoiler]

Make sure you always receive loot at your highest light level. Decrypt all exotics on highest LL character.

I've been away with work all this week, so i haven't even been able to get online since the weekly reset, but even on just the two previous weeks I got to 335/334 on all three characters easily enough by: Farming CoO for Artefacts Farming CoE for exotic secondary weapons, ghosts and class items. Completing Varyx Quests x 6 HM Raid x 6 Using three of coins at every boss, and three times in every CoO run. Trials bounties for additional drops too --- The above is also from just playing at weekends, and an hour or two on Friday nights (again due to work), so it's not a terribly time intensive process either :) Happy hunting!

Kings fall and 3OC. Went from 318 to 334 on all characters

Only two levels? I've done CoE twice, farmed bosses for about an hour, did one normal raid and went from 304 to 323... considering you can't get gear that drops below your level anymore from CoE and the raid (until it hits cap), I'm not sure how you only gained 2 levels except for really bad luck.

Just playing the game. Shaxx bounties and trials have been very rewarding for me. IB has also been good this week.

I went from 313 to 327 thus far. Not too bad but I made a few mistakes at the beginning, like cashing in all my exotic engrams at once. The key is planning the step up process carefully. For example, I have a primary exotic engram in my vault. My current light level is 327 but my primary gun is 330. If I cash the engram now, it'll probably give me a 330 or 331. Not worth it so I'm SAVING it for when I'm 229 or so. Meanwhile, my helmet is holding me back at 323, and my gloves and chest are 327, so I'm holding out for helmet, gloves, and chest drops before I do anything else.

What light level was you before? As it now is all based on the light your at so for us that was at 320 before it was alot quicker levelling up
