I recently upgraded my tv from a 32inch to a 55inch. I have turned my look sensitivity all the way to 10 and I am still doing really bad compared to what I used to do normally.
I have NO INPUT LAG before anyone asks.
Am I at the mercy of just getting used to the new size or are there better improvements I could try since its so much bigger?

I used to play on a 27 inch before I bought a 60 inch. I did have it set to game mode and had no lag at all. I honestly did horrible my first few matches because I was still getting used to the size difference. I play on a 4 sensitivity so I don't know if that might help but you could try it out. Its just a matter of getting used to it is all. After awhile I started playing just like I used to.

Sit closer to tv than before

I play on a projector which is on my wall and I would say it's over 120 inches roughly. I cannot play any games anywhere else lol I have my sensitivity around 4 or 5 usually
-
Go back to smaller tv. Its easier to play.

1 AntwortenI just bought a 55" 4k. I'm getting used to it also. My sensitivity stays on 3. Tlaloc has been my go to when I'm getting roughed up by try hard monkeys. That flinch is real though. I don't remember it being this bad, geez.

There's no such thing as a 55 inch tv with no input lag unless it's an old crt.
-
Bigger t.v. Is bad. You regardless are suffering from a input lag due to having to strech the pixels to their limit, the pros plays on 20 inch 1 mil sec monitors

27in the way to go.

Seriously, don't kid yourself, at that size, there WILL be display lag at the least. Maybe not input lag, but display lag also plays a big role. I suggest to not even do crucible on larger screens until we have new technology that improves display lag on larger screens. ~TheGreatNike

There may be a game mode in the settings on the TV. It should fix it.

I think I use about that size. You just have to get used to it, I've been playing FPS games on this sized TV for years. If you can sit at least 5 feet away from the screen, that may help, so you don't have to move your eyes as much. If you're moving your whole head, don't do that. Just move your eyes. It's so much faster, and it may seem dumb, but it truly helps. I used to use sensitivity of 10, but I've been continually moving down. I was a good sniper at 10, but I quickly progressed when I kept moving down a couple degrees of sensitivity every few matches. If I shotgun, I go up to 7 - 10, but when sniping, I use 3 - 5. Basically, just continue playing your style and your sensitivity, you just have to get used to it. That large of a switch that fast will take a while to transition and do well. These are just some tips from me. Try some of these, but don't try to take these too seriously, unless you want to. I hope these help! :) ~TheGreatFila

Bearbeitet von yam: 4/28/2016 1:56:16 PMbro I play 3 sensitivity on an 72in projector screen and do much better than most. I think that if your good, the size of the screen doesnt really matter that much. Also the 10 sensitivity thing wouldnt help anyways...

Never increase the size of your screen by that much. Sounds miserable.

Buy a BenQ monitor. $200 for last year model. I believe in destiny you can move the edges inward i. Settings

Go to displaylag.com and check out your tv. We all have input lag. Some better some worse.
-
Everything above 27" you're basically -blam!-ed, unless your tv has a special gaming option.
-
You have input lag friend, the best gaming monitors have a .5 ms lag so you're dealing with probably somewhere around 20ms, at least that's what Most hdtv's have. If you're serious about gaming I would get a monitor you can get a decent one for 250 and if your craigslist it probably cheaper.

Sensitivity I have found matters for most of you snipe or shotgun. Shotgun use high, snipe use low. Give it a month tho before making too many changes.
-
I play on a 65" TV and I use a sensitivity of 1... Seems to work good for me.. Just have to play with it and see what works best for you.
-
Move further away from the tv and gradually change sensitivity over time to find one that works for you - you can't instantly switch after one game - my suggestion is to play at least 1 1/2 hour per sensitivity of you don't have a lot of time and just change between them and find one that suits you it takes time to adjust also

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Heidegger: 4/27/2016 10:55:45 PMHDTV: Is for watching sports, movies, shows, and etc Monitor: Is for gaming Your welcome Edit: If you insist on playing at a ten sensitivity, give yourself up to two weeks for your brain to adjust to it.
-
Sit farther away and move your sensitivity back down to what it was

I think 52 inch is to big. I'm used to 32 inch and even that is lager than most gaming tv/monitors.
