Hello again Ghosts! For anyone living in a Hive tunnel on the Moon during the last week, Lord Saladin (AKA Lord Salad Shooter) has returned to the Tower to begin his testing of Guardians anew. The name of the game...is CLASH. GoDP has not put this on the Calendar because we can go Solo on this if we want to, and it also lasts for an entire week. We have an open call for participants going on in the group message thread, and ideally we would like a full Fireteam to decrease matchmaking times/increase odds of success. If you are interested, you can also comment on this posting with a rough time/date you'd like to run. KEY POINTS/TIPS: 1) If you have a Crucible Rep booster, either you or someone on your Fireteam use it before the start of jumping into IB. It won't increase your IB rep gains, but it *will* increase Crucible rep gains. 2) Light Level advantages are ON. Unlike traditional Crucible matches, Light Level matters in IB. The higher it is, the more damage you will do to opposing Guardians. The lower it is, you will take more damage. 3) Cash in your Daily IB Bounties from Lord Salad Shooter as often as you can, but wait *at least* one or two days before cashing in the Weekly IB Bounties. There is a rep booster applied which increases IB rep gains with every passing day, so you will end up with more rep from the weeklies if you wait a little bit. 4) If you're an IB Veteran, have your IB Emblem and Shader applied for IB rep boosting. IB weapons and armor do NOT count towards the boost. EDIT: In addition to Shaders and Emblems, Iron Banner Class Items will also provide an IB rep boost. 5) Iron Banner requires a Level 40 character to participate. I've heard stories of sub-40 Guardians playing IB so long as they aren't the Fireteam leader, but I can't verify that personally. Questions? Comments? Speak your piece below. -- Wayno156
