Snipers DO NOT TAKE SKILL!
With the high aim assist, no Descoping, any actual flinch . Anyone can use a Sniper in Destiny. And be effective.
[u]Descope[/u] If you're actually good with a Sniper, this drawback you effect you at all. (Hopefully this would be exempt from PVE)
[u]Aim Assist[/u] We all know it makes sniping easy in Destiny. Ever heard a Sniper say - they want Hidden Hand for their sniper? because they can't snipe for shit without it. Wondering why everyone wants a LongBow Synthesis = High aim assist sniper.

If they took skill, explain how everyone is able to use them. ~ Used this a Source because It's proof of how "overused" Snipers are, if I had sources of how frequent they are used in Other gametypes I would. Arguing Trials is geared for Snipers is invalid, considering Clash/Every Gametype is a Snipefest.

I rarely get out sniped because what I do that nobody else does is play with a sniper 1v1 if you want to take on a sniper NEVER, I mean NEVER peak a 2nd time if a sniper has spotted you down a lane, always change position and if you're the player peaking several times to try and outgun a sniper down a lane 99% of the time you are going to die. Snipers open bigger doors strategically than a shotgun in the right hands, melee distance combat is simply not an option in a high elo game simply because of the risk weighing out the reward. The only thing I have yet to understand about destiny is why they Nerfed the last word and NOT the mida, each counters opposite ends of the special yet the mida out performs the last word consistently at range and the last word struggles to outgun a charging shotgunner and this is my reason and strict opinion on why snipers require skill and why you're wrong. You'd only complain if you couldn't help peak that corner a second time or not be able to play strategically and smart. Stop complaining and try a different approach BUNGIE are not going to change snipers or shotguns. You people complain about sway and breathing for stability yet fail to realise the game this falls into as a pick up and play fast paced and small maps, it wouldn't work think about it as it would promote camping, which you'd all complain about aswell

Bearbeitet von Vrchue: 4/29/2016 2:29:56 AMYour video was a very bad example and snipers do take skill, snipers are very hard to use if you don't practice with it, if snipers didn't take skill players would be able to get a noscope headshot across the map. With snipers you have to time your shots and have very skillful hand eye coordination and when you practice you'll be able to hit shots like this... Edit you play with plz buff thorn, I played against him in trials a few weeks ago, man we wiped the floor with his team.

7 AntwortenIt's stupid how ignorant people are and won't admit it. This is the easiest game I've ever experienced sniping in. A bodyshot is a death sentence. This April update did not fix the core issues to sniper mechanics.

1 AntwortenYeah they definitely need to increase flinch but descope may be going too far. If I am popping off headshots on someone there is no way they should be able to land a headshot on me with a sniper. I have seen wayyy too much of that. Put sway, add time to scope in, and increase flinch when taking shots.

There's reasons why Shortgaze was favored over Ambush, and why the Longbow is now favored over the 1000-Yard Stare.

I can verify this to be true. I don't snipe. I actually dislike sniping as I prefer to use fusion rifles and now sidearms. But when it comes to trials I am suprisingly very very good at it. I amaze myself at how easy it is to pick up a sniper.

Remember how many times shotguns were nerfed before people stopped using them. The specials are overused in pvp, they have no limitations, nothing to make them special when they can be used as primaries. p.s. I've also noticed something on the forums... Dis shotguns and everyone agrees with you (still do now). Dis snipers and everybody hates you. Hmm...
