Just saying but wouldn't a cross between Xur and the Taken be cool, like a normal human just with black skin and white eyes and darkness tendrils growing out? They could be called the Jovians, as in Xurs race.

Things I'd like in the sequel: More races, possibly survivors of the races mentioned in the books of sorrow A bigger story Larger exploraable areas larger selection of weapons A new class or 2 Maybe a few more cutscenes? And most of all, less scrub catering. God forbid a gun kills you.

A focus on PvE instead of PvP. I'd like if if they removed most of the PvP components tbh.

New races and classes, in game LFG at the tower/reef, in game library for grimoire cards, in game clan support/content, ranked crucible, dedicated servers for crucible... I'll think of other stuff later.
