So uh. Why nerf Strikers?
What needs to be needs to be nerfed? Nothing. And for people saying shoulder charge, if you're half decent with a god damn gun you can easily put a charging Titan [spoiler]Down Below[/spoiler] with a few shots. Stop the damn whining. Pleeeeease.
Edit: To those few saying "Ohhhh it's a one hit kill" A one hit kill that you can see charging at you, and in most cases have time to gun down before being hit. That said, fusion grenade are a one hit if they stick, shotguns usually one hit along with a few other abilities. So the one hit thing is invalid. It honestly wouldn't be a viable perk if it wasn't one hit. Wouldn't be a reason to use it.
Edit 2:Honestly, all a striker nerf would do is effectively kill it's pvp viability. It couldn't even be considered a Nerf. Not like neutering. Let's be honest, all year ones km now this. Striker Titans had it rough from day. Blaming. One. And with all these new, flashy supers, we pretty much faded into obscurity. Until our name came up next on the nerf list because "my blink didn't save me from the mean shoulder" or "I can't aim at a charging player 20 feet away, who's running in a straight line so I can keep them from one hit killing me." Come the blame on. It's blaming motherblaming ridiculous at this point. Stop the damn whining. And to address Titan skating. It's difficult to do, and very easily countered by various things. In addition to that, the amount of Titan skating I see in my pvp matches are very low. So the complaints are most likely coming from people who are just anally traumatized due to lack of skill.

Anyone who asks for any nerf for striker Titan seriously just needs to either -deal with it -get good -play another game Why? Because there will ALWAYS be something to cry about in crucible and Bungie will never please everyone.

5 Antworten90% of the time, I die to shoulder charge after I kill the person rushing me. Juggernaut is op as hell and blocks two hawkmoon bullets.

7 AntwortenI could care less about shoulder charge. What needs to be nerfed is the strikers capability to destroy a defenders bubble and kill everyone inside. If you're a titan defender and there is a striker on the other team you might as well consider yourself screwed.

Warlocks are just salty that they can't survive a shoulder charge even with their unlimited grenades and overshield.

5 AntwortenStrikers are Titans. Titans shouldn't get kills from abilities in Crucible. Their melees are inferior, in effect and in range. Their grenades are stationary or area deniers, and as such are inferior to superior chaser/bolt grenades. Their lack of any true neutral game makes them fit only for the role of killstreak fodder. We saw that Sunbreaker was good and strong. We took their power, and left them hobbled. We saw that Defenders still underperformed in Crucible. We were amused by their cries for justice. And now, we see that Strikers are forgetting their place. We will remind them...who is master here. It takes the force of a car ie: 800+ kg at about 50 km/h to kill a full grown man minimum unless the trauma went directly to the head which doesn't happen often when you're standing. If a Titan were 300 pounds ie: 150 kg (which I doubt they even are) , going at about 20 km/h (Usain Bolt full speed, which they don't even attain when skating) your kinetoc energy doesn't even get close. I don't think shoulder charge is broken but you certainly can't justify it with real world logic.

All I ever heard from Titans when the sunbreaker nerf happened is "it's a tank class! It should have armor!". Ok, you're a tank class...so why do Titans have unbelievable mobility? Especially with twilight garrison it's crazy....there is no primary except TLW that has the TTK to take down a titan moving that fast around a corner. You have to have a shotty to defend it. It's all good, though. I'm not sure how you would adjust it so just leave it be...but let's not act like Strikers aren't very powerful.

That way when they bring it up again, Warlock will be OP based on how nerfed Titans are. I'm telling you, this cycle goes on. The only thing that irritates me is the shitty/laggy hit detection for shoulder charge. I'll be 10-15 feet in the and a dude running on the ground shoulder charges and somehow cracks a wormhole open and teleports to where I am in the air and 1-hit kills me. Other than that the class is fine and balanced its just good and Fist of Panic has an really easy learning curve for a super.

4 AntwortenHow can you stop something or put multiple shots into it if it lasts like a whole second at most? Not to mention you can spam it in trials and also it could kill a Sunsinger with increased armor Stat on and also after gaining an overshield.
