Am I a scrub for summoning on Pontiff?

I ended up soloing and got lucky. summons add so much health, which is fair I suppose.

I summoned but only because I want the black hand armour and I wanted to finish anri and didn't know if I had to do their summons

I wouldn't say you're a scrub, you could be better, but you're not a scrub, scrub is estoc spam with a greatshield.

My rule is I have to solo the boss then I can summon on them in later runs. Pontiff is a boss I summon on now that I beat him.

Honestly no. Jolly cooperation is really fun! I summoned on him, but that was like before I even knew about him. I play with my cousin and it's such a blast.

5 Antwortenthere is nothing wrong with summoning. People who say that there is only do it to make themselves sound good.

I haven't beat him solo yet as of 2 play throughs...I'm sure I'll do it solo eventually

4 AntwortenWho cares? It's your game, you bought it, and you can play it however you want. Besides, coop in souls games can be really fun. If you feel like you want or need to pull someone in, then go right on ahead. I'd say the biggest losers are the ones who would say something negative about another player pulling someone in. Always been a huge souls fan, but it's loaded with dorky little wannabe elitists. Everyone knows that.
