Gonna make this short.
Microtransactions and DLC have been the biggest hatred of Gamers since the dawn of "robbing gamers of their money by under-handed tactics" was invented.
Every few months, Bungie and Activision push closer and closer to Pay To Win, or Pay To Advantage. And every few months, the hatred for Eververse Purchasers continue to rise.
A lot of people think they are cool, and supportive because they spent 20 to 50 dollars on Sterling Treasure to get Full Taken and/or Full Spektar.
But in reality, both on the forums, and in-game, they are getting murdered socially for helping in the greed and brutality of Bungie and Activision making the game come ever more near to hand-over-fork microtransactions.
What are your thoughts, forum?

If bungo stays just with cosmetic items this idea should be fine, but if they move over to only selling certain guns for silver then its going too far with eververse.
-
I'm for having micro-transactions for cosmetic items.

66% of people are retards.
-
Will be interesting when the next dlc drops and bungie ask for money.
-
66% disagree. That backfired.

As long as they give me a chance to get the "pay to win" items without paying for them. I'm happy. There are a lot of people who want the taken gear right away and pay for it. That's fine.. (If they make the taken gear obsolete like raid gear then we have a problem) As long as I can earn treasure boxes, I'm okay with this.
-
I don't care about people buying silver.....shit buy as much as you want ....but for God's sake Destiny 2 better destroy all other games in all aspects ...Bungie this is your call

3 AntwortenSterling silver boxes and emotes make zero difference to the game. IF the boxes dropped armor or guns at 335 there would be room for complaint, but they don't. They are purely cosmetic until infused with something earned. So, who's gives a rats ass if people want to spend money that they worked for on frivolous shit. It's their money, they earned it. It doesn't effect the poor people.
-
Bought $135AU of silver...Don't give a rats ass whether it's helping or hurting...its not going to change the greedy corporate mentality of Activision whether I do or I don't. Fundamentally, whether you buy silver, or whether you paid retail for vanilla destiny you've contributed to what destiny is now. I wonder how many people who are crying about silver preordered destiny? I only wish there was more to buy in the form of customisation...right now it's pretty pitiful.

I've got all the taken gear except boots and gloves without purchasing..

3 AntwortenIt's ridiculous I've opened 6 treasures normally and not got 1 taken item but people that buy $10 worth of silver get the whole set? Wtf Bungie
-
4 AntwortenThat was not short friend. And it's only going to get worse and worse. I am just here until i am not, and my wallet is secured. Easy as that.
-
It is what it is. I got all the desolate armor for my warlock besides the bond, and I can look forward to these 3 free packages every week for it. There's NOTHING special about it besides the look. Bungie has yet to cross that line. I got what I wanted, and I supported the game. Two-fer.
-
2 AntwortenLmao I bought $10 worth of sterling treasures and I got all the taken gear for my titan
-
I bought $10 worth of silver plus the packages received so far....I count myself lucky as to not have gotten one of the desolate pieces...what a waste!
-
1 AntwortenI spent 10 bucks and got the full set and both ships, guess that's just RNG for you.
-
One word Activision.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Toxic_Hollow: 4/24/2016 6:14:23 AMmmos ? yes. micro it up or sub it up. gotta make new stuff and keep the lights on. there's a way to do it right like warframe and a way to be greedy as shit like evolve. single player games ? no. no. no. Co ops ? no. no. no. console games ? no. no. no. dlc ? if it's extra and the game was great yes I will give you more money for a little more game. cosmetic dlc ? if I love the game enough like rocketL what started free anyway... yeah I'll buy your extra cars for the joy of it and to fund future stuff you guys can have my money. indie devs need that. microtrasactions ? nah -blam!- that. if you made something of value you would sell it for a fair price and people would buy it making it dlc. but you start making an alter currency exchange that always leaves you under or over. wasting money or forcing you to shell up more to even out. that's bullshit. random loot crates ? nah... I know how arcades work, it only let's you win if you put enough money in to pay for the prize inside. micros are bullshit. if you want to make money make something people want or love. don't trick force or mindfuk people into a gambling simulator using clear psychology addiction influence.

57 AntwortenBearbeitet von ElderWolfWalker: 4/23/2016 2:07:01 AMIt's a fact that GAMING has gotten worse. ITS A FACT THAT PUBLISHES HAVE STARTED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR WALLETS because of the people who spent ridiculous amounts of money on shitty microtransactions. BUNGIE used to add the things we wanted in destiny, but now they take advantage of the things we want. We wanted a taken shader, and they took advantage of that, shoving sterling treasures down our throats. (Who's to blame? The people spending $50+ on useless emotes). When they see people spend so much money on pity items they'll take advantage of it. And so will other developers. The last two cods purposely removed content and added them in as RNG items which most players will never even get to see. It punishes those who don't spend money. Same goes for this. Players who don't spend money on destiny are getting punished. (Another high request was more customisable options, and since so many players spent $$$$ on emotes they realised they could make even more money from our request, how? The sterling treasure system) most players most even get to see the armour they want or use it. This all could've been shit we actually earned, all those emotes could've been earned, all those extra customisable options is halo and cod could've been earned, but no. Now they take advantage of what we want because they know people will spend a stupid amount on items they'll forget in a couple months. I don't care about spending money on an items I'll forget in a couple months, but what I do care about is what GAMING becomes in a couple months, because it's only getting worse and the only people we can blame are those who waste money on items because they're too impatient to earn them.[/quote]

The majority has spoken, micro transactions are here to stay and they are making Destiny the dream game we've always wanted... smh

They are giving Bungie money to make this game better.

2 Antwortentl;dr comment summary. 1. long explains in fact why this affects gaming negatively. facts, examples, reasoning. 2. "I don't care." (because I don't understand how it affects ) 3. "I'm an asshole who buys silver because I wanna pissed people off. ( just trolls trolling) 4. people who twist everything into some kinda business practice to justify it but when replied to end up just insulting with such jems as "git gud " "keep crying" "your mom"

3 AntwortenIf anything they are helping because it has shown that if activision doesn't get the profits they desire they will increase the level of pay to win

6 AntwortenIs for patrolling... if some doesnt have gaunlets and legs for raid, we boot that person, due to raid perks for speed holding relic and weapon reload during aura, on raid gear. Same for trials, "last hope" perk on boots is very important.
