The Witcher 3 or Dark Souls 3?
Hey everyone, I just need help choosing which game to get. I'm going to have both of them eventually, but for now I just want to put my time into one of them. What are your thoughts on each game and which one should I purchase?
Edit-I purchased Dark Souls 3. Wow, this game is difficult lol. So far I've made it to the second bonfire in the undead settlement.
Killed the curse rotted greatwood. This fight was much easier than I thought it would be
The crystal sage was surprisingly easy

16 AntwortenWatch a playthrough of the Witcher 3 on youtube, because you won't be missing much on the gameplay side. Dark Souls 3 is all about that epic gameplay, with a huge amount of content and longevity. DS3 > TW3 \[T]/

Honestly both are must plays so you should also try to get witcher 3 because it didn't win game of the year for nothing

Both look pretty good, however DS3 character building looks like something out of last gen Fun: The Witcher - if you get stuck you can always change the difficulty.. also, horse riding, treasure hunts.. Multiplayer: Dark Souls 3 That's just my opinion.. i have both games and prefer the Witcher overall. See that you went with Dark Souls 3. Honestly, either choice was good. Have fun.

I like games where I can get hooked on the story and get attached to characters. So Witcher 3 for life.

I just find TWs setting infinitely uninteresting, it just doesn't have any of the straight out craziness of souls. I put it with Dragon Age inquis Big world with lots of stuff, but none of that stuff really piques my interest.

The Witcher 3 by far. It has one of the best worlds I have ever seen in any videogame.

Both are amazing games, but I find myself more drawn to the badass Geralt and his world than DS3

39 AntwortenDark souls is pretty ass compared to the witcher. Much less content and way more repetitive, but if you're getting both I would get the witcher first and wait for dark souls to drop in price.

I know personally I would have more fun with Dark Souls/Bloodborne but Witcher 3 is amazing in every way, tough choice.

Get Dark Souls 3 while the community is at its peak. You don't have to worry about that in the Witcher.

My preference is for the Witcher series. Probably my favourite series in my 31 years of gaming. I like the Souls games for a bit of a dabble but that's about it.

20 AntwortenI wouldn't overlook TW3. The combat in DS3 may be a bit better however, TW3 can be very difficult as well by setting on harder difficulties and just as fun. Plus TW3 is a huge game that will last you way longer than DS3.

Depends on what you like gaming wise. But me personally would go with the Witcher 3 with season pass the Heart of Stone dlc is awesome and Blood and wine dlc will be out soon which adds even more content
