Don't Rush the Treasure Room
I haven't done Prison of Elders often. I actually had a stockpile of Keys until I turned them in for rep this week.
Last night I did the level 41 POE matchmade. After getting through the last round, I made sure I didn't rush down the hole to the treasure room, knowing I could die if I wasn't careful. Right before I reached the bottom the match ended, and I was whisked to orbit... shut out of the treasure room.
Don't be a jerk. Let everyone who worked for the rewards get them.

I rush to the bottom, but refuse to open the chest until everyone is down.

Don't take so long to get downstairs then. I will wait half a min at the bottom max then I will pop the chest. More than enough time to get it

If it takes you more than 30 seconds to get to the bottom, then you are moving way too slow.....WAY TOO SLOW... that being said, dont be a dick and open the chest early. Also, there is a ghost on the platforms

5 Antwortenthe fact that there is a ghost on the way down and some people are trying to get it and then go down for the rewards.. is it really that much to ask after spending 15-20 minutes to just wait until everyone is there.. i guess it is or posts like this wouldn't happen.. that is why a clan is the best option.. play with friends and they won't screw you.

Why is this a problem? Just go through the door! Fall down the hole and glide or jump before the bottom!

What are you doing that takes so long to get to the room? The floor doesn't even open until everyone's there

The door opens, jump or drop to first platform right below you. Literally right under the circular door when it opens. Move to the outer rim of the platform and look for a area to fall from where you won't hit any platforms right away. Slowly push towards the edge and fall off. While falling, move towards the center while LOOKING DOWN. This will allow you to avoid all the platforms and quickly reach the bottom. Most important is when you fall into the room with a circular entry and you can see gold (treasure room): JUMP ASAP to break the fall and not die. its not hard and its really easy to learn. Its really not even hard to jump to each platform to make it down there in time. Its basic platforming like platforming in raids. People speed farm the level 41 for the Sterling Chest for the week.

I hate this too but it's not going to change. You need to practice jumping down there because until you get better at it you're going to have this problem. Or just don't play PoE.

Yep have noticed this a lot. Never ever had this prob in original Poe. You just knew to wait at the chests till everyone got down. Tonight I actually revived both my team mates at the bottom and they then ran straight past me and opened both the chests as fast as they could. Everyone stuffs up the jump every now and then so a bit of patience is expected.

1 AntwortenLuckily [b]most[/b] of the community is spacially aware and makes sure others are at least in the vicinity before they cause the end timer. It's unfortunate you had to run in to someone just trying to rush through it all with no regard for anyone else, fortunately these players are usually children.

Did you stop to get that ghost on the way down? Back to the original subject, I always liked the race to get down, but even if I'm first it's just common courtesy to wait up for the other guys. What gets me is that some dudes die halfway down before they even reach the bottom lol.

To those who collect ghosts: There's a dead ghost on the second stoop right off the edge, just look down before you jump, if you land on the third one down, you can jump back up

I have done this enough in year 1 to make it down easily within 30 seconds but I have died stupidly sometimes so I take my time and I wait at the bottom for others when I get there because not everyone has done this before There is a dead ghost on the way down and I didn't get a chance to get it in the first week because of people rushing to get the treasure. I got it yesterday. How many people miss this because they are too busy rushing for a couple of motes and a strange coin?

I missed out on the treasure room as I was looking for the ghost. I admit it shook me up pretty bad. I've had flash backs...

If you die on the way down I understand waiting. If you take 40 seconds just to get to the bottom, no, I'm going to open the chest without you.
