I'm having a lot of fun with this update.
One of the main reasons is that I hardly ever get a drop with a bad roll. And the couple that I have, have all been 330+ in light. Some of the rolls on the prison weapons are godly. Which brings me to my next point.
I like that the some of the best pvp weapons are dropping in pve. That is definitely what needs to happen going forward. In the past Bungie has forced pve players into the crucible. The majority hate that. But forcing pvp players into pve territory, lol I love it. I used to suck at pvp, and am pretty good now, but watching some of my sweaty pvp buddies in the prison...lmao!
I like the chroma, I like the armor, I especially like the hints at the upcoming Mars DLC (here's looking at you Dune armor).
Good job Bungie. I hope you continue this trend.

I love this update because I can level up with ANY activity. I love raiding but I dont always have the time. but there is always time for some patrol or a quick strike. Every minute spent now is now not just fun, but also highly gratifying. Thank you Bungie!

26 AntwortenI love how you dont need skill or have to work to get to max light. I love all the 335 noobs in the raid that have never raided before. I love how it takes 2 days to finish all the content now. Good job bungie

17 AntwortenContinue the trend of more reskins? Right....
-
I agree totally re-energized me, good drops and forward progress makes all the difference! And I like chroma got full armor set with blue! In pretty much 4 treasure boxes yes I bought one my first micro transaction but no regrets at all!

the changes are great !!

12 AntwortenI love how exotic engrams don't break down at 290, or 310 light. I love how infuses work now. I love how vendor guns have better rolls. I love how ranking any faction gives you amazing high light drops. I love vanguard/pvp rep boosters, I love how I don't need to play the raid anymore. I love how anyone can grind out Poe and continue to get high light drops even tho you're done with the sigil and bounties. I love how easy and short level 42 Poe is. I love chroma. I love destiny

Yep,me too. It's a fun game whether you're tooling around solo or teaming up for specific activities. Bottom line,I like shooting stuff👍
-
It is definitively an improvement :)
-
Agreed. This update is sweet :). Also, it's been reminding A LOT about why i fell in love with this game last year. It was the fun. :).

8 AntwortenThe biggest improvement for me is infusion. Iron Banner was my only source of high light gear (never raided :( ). Things would drop much higher than my current light, so I'd be left with a choice: use it as is or lose light to get the gear with the perks I want. Now I can finally engineer the exact build I want without sacrificing my max available light level. Finally feels like an RPG and not an 'always use your highest light item regardless of how you want to play" chore.

I love the update, was worried about some of the nerfs, but it is not so critical as expected and the new stuff is great. I like the slow progression of the light level that I am not rushing for 335 first day, but I get slow progress drops and it makes it more entertained. I wish the taken armour chance would be higher thought.

10 AntwortenYeah I actually hopped on for the first time on 5 months and had a absolute blast. Taking a break from the Division until they get their shit together and I think I'll be on that Destiny train for a bit.

2 AntwortenWhy do pve players even want good pvp weapons?

1 AntwortenI love this new update as well tho I wish they could fix Crpytarch packages I get absolute garbage from those besides the Strange coins I get. Either than that I'm enjoying this Thanks Bungie!
-
Yeah, well -blam!-ing done Bungie. Good job on this update.
-
1 AntwortenThe absolute one thing I truly like about this update is the new Queen and Fallen weapons. They've clearly learned from the crap that Variks sold in HoW, and all of the new weapons have fantastic stats and possible perks. No more Shank Burn!

Must be nice having good rng

I'm just happy to be playing with my friends again on this game and having a good time

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von W33DEDPLAGUE: 4/21/2016 6:39:58 PMI agree with your point about PvP weapons dropping in pve and pve should drop in crucible too...that will get everyone to try both finally and actually see that both can be fun...however, as for this being a great update...of course it is, it was FREE!...If they had charged us for this update, the whole community would filling these forums with salt...its hard to be disappointed with something when its free lol...let's see how long this lasts as we aren't getting any more dlc for the next few months and honestly I'm already getting sick of POE again...personally, I'm looking forward to the next expansion which won't be here til the end of september

3 AntwortenPrior to the April update, the lack of anything new to do, the lack of communication, and what I perceived to be an arrogant attitude from Deej really turned me off. I have to say that I tried the April update, and I've been having a good time again. Thanks, Bungie...we're cool. -Beta and Day 1 player. Pros: -the very much improved infuse system -improved drops -a score system on challenge of elders (as opposed to just completing it) -multiple armor sets per class gives more cosmetic options (although I'd prefer an appearance slot) -overall seems like more balanced PVP scene (I only dabble) -more Variks, yeessss Still needs improvement: -Bring ALL the old content to year 2 (VoG, the old strikes, the old PVP maps back in rotation, etc). They don't have to be Taken-ified, just let us play them. I assume you are already planning this for some big cabal expansion prior to Destiny 2 along with some publicity stunts to get everyone to come back (introducing...the gjallarTHORN!!!). But again, please try to better communicate whatever your plans are prior to launching this time. And no attitude, please. I'm looking at you, Deej.

7 Antwortengood pvpers aren't bad at pve they just don't try as hard.

6 AntwortenRewards are much better. Crpytarch packages are broken but aside from that I'm enjoying the grind. It feels much more mmo like now. You grind your factions up and are rewarded by appropriate light gear. Did Court ad a 331 and got a 335 artifact. Much better.
