For frag's sake, why is this even a thing?
My dude can defy gravity, bend space and wield space magic, but he needs a little break to catch his breath?
And it's not like there's an actual sprint recharge mechanic, you can run forever is you so choose. But for some reason, if I stop running, I have to wait to sprint again. Why?
All this stupid mechanic does is get me killed in clutch situations where I need my dude to respond. It's not skill-based, it's not balancing, it's just annoying.
So please take that stupid thing out!
(Edit: 458 Up-votes. Wow! Great support, guys. We might just get Bungie to take this nonsense out!)

When Destiny first came out I actually bought a new controller. I though mine was failing because of the sprinting nonsense. Very frustrating sometimes, especially after shadow step.

Yes. Git it gone

Get rid of it!

We've been asking for this since day one. I don't know why it hasn't been addressed. The only thing I can think is that fixing it would break something else within their spaghetti coding.

Bump! I am destroying my controller

I can't agree more. It doesn't even always apply, there's no on screen timer to tell when it's over, it doesn't make sense and it only screws up players, but doesn't actually stop anyone from doing something (shotgunners can still run at you, and if they are close enough to shoot, they should kill first or second shot, sprintt or no sprint, and beyond that, sprint isn't really needed) If you wanted bungie, you could simply make a shorter one for certain weapons and none for primary weapons (except for universal remote) that would please a lot of people

Pretty sure I've messed up the thumbstick from mashing sprint trying to make my guy actually move in tense situations

I agree.

2 AntwortenIf they did that you could just keep chaining slides which would be the next thing people complain about in PvP. Now you can only do two without having to walk afterwards.
