Let me explain.
So from the beginning Bungie has always weapon balance patches.
I c the problem as we will never truly be balanced to please everyone.
So my idea is to embrace a Rebalance of everything. Every 4 Months we get a new Weapons Balance patch.
Examples: First 4 months shotguns and handcannons are strongest. Next 4 months it's Autos and sidearms. And so on.
To explain this in game we could have the weapon manufacturers explain the situation. Example: One could say, We figured out how to get more out of our slow rate of fire autos with the discovery of this rare thing... or invention. We also want to inform you that snipers will see a change as well. Our suppliers are being assaulted by Taken foes.
So as you can see many ideas could come from this. We will have a unbalanced balance. Lol. Yes it might suck for 4 months or it might be awesome for 4 months. All depends on the player.
You can also modify classes this way. Say warlocks have discovered a way to better channel the void. Maybe strikers have been weakened by the Taken presence on so and so planet.
Now with this we could maybe have strikes or something or a Playlist that would maybe be a way to vote for the next 4 months changes.
Example: fighting on Venus would lean to having snipers stronger and scouts nerfed.
Maybe giving us a little control on what we want. That way if people are sick of hand cannons they can do that strike that nerfs them. On the last month things would get tallied for how many of what strike was done.
Again all just ideas for future game or what have u. Lol
