Archon Priest Ruined (my opinion)
In year one when I first played the archon priest strike i fell in love. Not because I thought the boss was cool but because of the freedom the design of the level allowed. You could snipe you could run around with a shotgun you could send rokets flying at the priest from mid air, you get the picture. However in the april update, if you have not played the strike yet, the boss battle forces players to turtle and try to kill what ever just spawned next to you while you also cant sprint, roll or jump due to a blight. See if there where a few blights i would be fine but the fact that its nearly impossible to run in a striaght line without being slowed by a blight completly kills the strike.

So there is such a strike? I thought psn ripped me off. Rng h8s my guts. If it werent for badluck, i wouldnt have any luck! FML.

Relax bro, theres 2 different versions. The taken version and an updated heroic old school version. Its random which 1 you get. But theres 100% an original version can show up in the heroic playlist.

13 AntwortenI did like 20 strikes, 1 was archon priest....it wasn't the taken version. That shotgun must be the most rare gun on the face of earth

You can still get the old fashioned archon strike in the heroic playlist. Don't worry

I enjoy the challenge. It makes it fun when I have to worry about more than just crouching on a ledge to snipe the boss.

I got the chance to play it once. They just decided to dump as many taken on screen as possible and fill the gaps with blights and takenify the priest.

Done a bunch of strikes over the weekend STILL not seen it, it's bullshit.

I've went into the strike playlist 74 times counted it and never got it once and only got malok twice

Just think of it as something new. Besides the regular version is still in the playlist I think :)

I still haven't gotten it yet. I've done around 40 strikes and it's really pissing me off.

Y1 Archon Priest is still in the playlist so I'm not sure what the problem is.

It has defiantly lost it's nostalgic feel. I'm so sick of the Taken. They should have just made original Taken specific strikes away from the then current strikes.

Haven't played it yet, but that does sound like quite an inconvenience. You're right though. Regular version of that strike is terrific. Just has a little of everything.
