The problem with lightning nades

Their effective range. Simple as that. You can get hit by the initial burst, and run as fast as you can away from the nade in almost any direction, and still get killed by the second burst, or another player. Kind of op if you position them correctly. Edit: to all the morons who are saying it's balanced, you clearly suck with them, because they're super easy to land in the right spot, and they almost always gurantee a kill because of how long they sit there. I'm killed more by them then any other nade simply because they're essencially an aoe nade that does the same amount of damage that a single burst nade does, that also has over twice the range that any other nade has. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they're just a tiny bit op (not super op like you clearly seem to think). I also get the most unassited (I don't have to shoot at the person too) kills with them out of all other nades when I decide to run my Titan, so this isn't just a one-sided complaint. Edit: I'm in no way saying that they need to be nerfed to the ground. If their cone was slightly smaller, they'd be okay. This thread got super toxic super quickly; even by Destiny standards (vanilla players will understand better than y2 players), which probably shows that I have a fair point when it comes to this community.
