Do you think it's unfair that my brother, who is only a year older than me, can do tons more shît that I can. He has the app store and safari app, which I don't, and he can walk by himself without checking up every hour for 'updates', and when he breaks his phone, he gets a brand new one but when I break my phone, I get a flip phone until I save up for a new one. On top of that, he's failing all of his classes and he skipped 2 weeks of pre-cal and I have all A's and have never missed a day of school in my life.
I'm a girl, if that makes a difference, they say I can't do anything because I am a girl and I should only do 'stuff that girls do' like paint their nails and wear dresses and go to slumber parties, which I don't do anything of that sort and the only thing I got away with was playing videogames... and I snuck in sports somewhere in there...
That's ass.

8 Antwortenfirst, that spoiler; Please excuse the new wave feminism of this statement, but that is extremely sexist. Second, how the hell does your phone not come pre-installed with an internet app?
-
1 AntwortenHow does one not have safari? Or the app store for that matter? I smell bs.
-
He has the app store and safari app, which I don't
That's kinda ridiculous.

1 Antworten
He has the app store and safari app, which I don't,
That's not how it works...

life isn't fair. parents will always be over protective of their daughters. get pregnant by a black guy. you'll get whatever you want to stay away from him. or get thrown out. could go either way. eh... don't take this advice

There are too many kids on this forum.

Better question: How old are you and what year of school are you in?

Whiny bítch

5 AntwortenIt's because you actually show promise.

Just imagine. You could be a starving kid in Africa, or a soldier in Afghanistan. Be happy for what you have.

I hung out with two polish girls in high school who had the same situation. They were both 18 and couldn't do anything without getting into all kinda of shit with their parents. Meanwhile, their 15year old brother was allowed to drink and smoke (illegally) right in front of their parents without problems. Odd culture they have.

Because he only has 2 months to live. That is the only reasonable explanation.

Sacrifice him to our Lord and saviour Randell the vandal

You have no idea the sexism against male youth
-
Tbh they probably think your brother needs more attention and is emotionally unstable compared to you.
-
He's out buying drugs on those walks.
-
3 AntwortenThat just means you'll be better off later in life, you won't lose all the pampering he gets when you move out. He'll miss it when it's gone

1 AntwortenYes it's unfair, ageist and/or sexist? not so much. It's character building, look at it that way. Your parents want the best for you, and from their point of view they've seen the obstacles females encounter in life, they just want you to be the best you can be. They want you to strive to be better, even better than themselves, so don't stress over it, it will pass and eventually your brother will be the one posting this type of thread, and you'll be the one advising him. Hang in there.
-
2 Antwortenthat's because your parents obviously are more protective of you than him
-
1 AntwortenIt is obvious, your parents suspect he might be a retard, so he needs that shit.
-
6 AntwortenYepp, it is. But keep in mind, that 15 year olds (ehm like myself) are often very different from 16 year olds, especially in parents pov. Atleast from what ive seen..
weird thing is, im way more mature than some of the people that are 18+ that i personally know, especially here in offtopic ;)
1 AntwortenWell you're apparently only 14 years old so how old is your brother? 17?
