100% disagree.
The main mechanics of locomotion that make up the hunter are literally the most common in all of fps. Warlocks and Titans both have to manipulate their second jump to be successful in pvp. Focused burst, catapult/movement.
Other than throwing knives hunters play like any other fps game. Which is why SOOO many people gravitate towards hunter. They go with what is familiar.
Blink, warlocks have that so it's not counted in its mechanics. Shade step is more of a refined movement, even though people disagree. And call it a crutch, it takes skill to use properly ever notice those idiots that use shade step in a straight line??? Yeah... You aren't using it Correctly.
Hunters don't need to think about much after they've activated their second jump. You just press a button and forget it, you can't do that with a Titan/warlock. Unless you are one of those idiots that just flies up into the air like a moron and wonder why you died.
I have played all three classes extensively and have gone to the lighthouse with all of them as well. I put in more work (mechanics wise) with both my titan and warlock than I do with my hunter.
And I love all of my classes, but hunter is does NOT take the most skill to use.
I'm going to have to give the largest learning curve to Titans. Plain and simple.
You can disagree and bitch, but if you don't use all three classes frequently, then you don't know what you are talking about.

I used to play my hunter frequently but I started to get bored so i deleted it and made another Warlock.
-
Titan skating is the easiest skill to master, warlock jumping is as well. The hunter jump might be the most familiar, but not many hunters can manipulate it skillfully or know all the ins and outs of the jump from ground to climax.
-
Going to call bullshit right there. I don't play my warlock because the jump is so -blam!-ing awful. Basically lifting yourself into the air to be turned to Swiss cheese isn't really a PVP dream.
-
Your doing it wrong, the warlock jump can get you out of the line of sight fairly easily if you wait until you have momentum. Never jump straight up.
-
Warlock jump is actually terrible In PVP you just can't jump because you float around and get sniped
-
This post is 10/10, thank you fine sir

Man buddy, you are swearing your life off that you think you know about skill between these classes in this game. Not even gonna waste my time explaining anything to a ignorant person like you. I've seen your replies from the people who think indifferently from your statement. To be honest though, it depends on the person. Depending on what weapon setup you use, it decides if you can be aggressive or not in Crucible.
Last thing, people these days gun me down pretty easily even during shadestep. The glitch before the patch was probably the only way to have them miss their shots.
Partialy agree with Shade step being a refined movement. It's more than that. It enables you to out manouver your opponent, dodge the incoming ult/nade, gives you a short time zoom out/wider screen for your surounding and land the killing blow if worked out perfectly. All with a double tap on one button. It's a unique movement not existing in many common fps games with pvp gameplay. And to use blink jump you must calculate from previuse blink jumps where you will land since your character and screen moves away from point A to point B without you seeing the travel time. If that hunter is aiming for a blink shotgun approach then he needs to (after the jump) turn the screen around and find the target again. During that one second after the said blink jump, you either kill or get killed. Titans and warlocks lift jumps don't do that. You are constantly seeing your travel time and target with minor screen adjustments to keep your aim on your target.
-
Both warlocks and hunters have blink. So that is why I removed it from unique aspects of the class. Also, this isn't about what jump does what. It is about the basic fundamentals that make the classes harder to use. So, hunters have a generic jump, and most of their skills with he exception of blink and shadestep are all common place in 90% of FPS. In turn, making the hunter class the most familiar, and easiest to get into. Why do you think there are so many hunters? Then you have players that became Titans and warlocks waaay later into the life span of their destiny career. The learning curve for both classes are different, and larger. Again, this isn't about skills, and abilities. Just the overall locomotion that makes the classes "feel" different. Nades and melees are common sense skills. Supers are just that, supers. Leaving movement the thing that separates the good from the bad, the average from the top tier. Gun skill is obviously involved. But it isn't included because a guy with strong game skill and gun skill will perform well regardless of the class. Again, basic fundamentals define the class/player
-
So your basing your opinion on movement alone.
-
Fist of panic, lighting grenade, shoulder charge one hit melee, max armor. Strikers are scrubs. I'll tip my cap to Defenders in Trails though.

Bearbeitet von Kryojenix: 4/15/2016 11:19:06 PMYou obviously aren't paying attention. We aren't talking abilities. Locomotion is what make the classes feel different. So again, if you have nothing to add or an intelligent answer, than keep it to yourself kid. Again, you don't know what you are talking about No Titan, no knowledge. You are biased and salty. Keep it to yourself. And leave the adults to their conversation.

And how about you shut up the fück up. Your medal score isn't even 1 million.
And how about you shut up the fück up. Your medal score isn't even 1 million.
Poor child, you couldn't find a decent rebuttal so you go to attack someone's medal score? That's quite pathetic.
-
And another mute :)
-
Because you can't actually form a decent rebuttal to what you started? You say you're 32 but you sure act like half the age.
-
Hey fūcker I'm 32 so don't call me a kid. It's real hard to spam a jump button and Titan skate. And yes I am biased just like you. It's called a forum for a reason. You're the one that needs to stop throwing shade because someone doesn't agree with you. Muted.

There's a thing called preference, I think titans are hardest to use and my friends can't use Hunterbto save their lives, but can do good with titan and warlock
-
This isn't about preferences, it's about the mechanics that go into each class' movement. Hunters have the most basic fundamentals, they are taken from almost any other fps that has a double jump. Anyone who has played fps can easily use a hunter. They may have a harder time to use other classes because of their locomotion and their initial feel of the class. Also, you have to think about it through the eyes of someone just starting the game. Because often time the first impression makes people change their class, and let's be honest at the start... Titans and warlocks kind of suck because you can't really manipulate your jump like you can later.
-
Totally agree. Each hunter subclass is geared towards PvP.
-
Still not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the core mechanics that make the classes feel unique. Which in my opinion is movement. They fundamentally change how you move about the world be it pvp or pve
-
Have to agree 100% titan is mostly gunplay which takes the most skill hunters have wombo combo trip mines and arcbolts all take a minimal amount of skill and warlocks have firebolts which take no skill and that's not saying titan neutral game sucks they have flashbangs and lighting nades arguably some of the best nades in the game but some people still like to use sunbreaker I do when It actually works it's awesome

See that's not what I'm talking about. All classes take a level of skill to use their equipment and melees at the right time. I am referring more to the mechanics of movement that the classes have that make them unique not in gameplay, but movement which is in my opinion the hardest thing to master and separates the classes the most after their supers
