I have a question for you.
How is warframe considered Pay to win. Yet Destiny is not considered pay to win?
Heres a full comparison.
Destiny.
1. You Pay money to buy gear thats level 3. Then you infuse it fast to get it max rank. Especially considering how most people have high level gear from farming TTK Raid. The infusions take a few short moments to fully max them.
2. Or you can Farm for the Treasure once a week. And then infuse them.
3. Has different stats. RNG
4. You cant trade or earn Real money currency in Destiny.
Warframe.
1. You can pay money to buy weapons armor.. But still have to level them to 30. (usually several times after formaing them) Think of this as your Infusion. Except a good deal more time. They do not come maxed out.
2.You can farm for the parts as long as you have the keys to go into said mission that has the item.
3. Weapons, Armor. All have the same Stats. No RNG on stat rolls.
4. Can trade Prime weapon and armor parts for premium currency. (Yep you dont have to pay a cent real life.)
Okay maybe not a full comparison but enough of the solid points to the Destiny fans that Cried/cries that Warframe is Pay to win. So. Lets hear it now. with your proof People.
Haha. So many downvotes for the Truth.

4 AntwortenThis belongs on off topic because you are making a comparison to another game and not given constructive feedback to help the game of destiny. This is your opinion and therefore belongs on the off topic area of the form. Please move it to there so that the actual feedback for the game of destiny can be viewed instead of your opinion regarding the comparison to the other game.

1 AntwortenHere's my feedback... Play a different -blam!-ing game. This one is broken and the community on the forums are now toxic!!! Luke Smith still sucks!

2 AntwortenBecause Warframe has a lot more shit that you can buy, granted you can buy the blueprints for certain items. Somethings however, you have to buy them. Don't get me wrong, Warframe is very fun, never got me bored so far... then again I have only started playing at the end of January. Destiny on the other hand has, so far, only sold cosmetic items. Now I do agree that buying Sterling Treasures is pretty shitty and anybody who does that has no life, but at this point... what do these perks really do? Does anybody actually give a shit? Micro-transactions have been shit from the get-go. Neither games are really pay-to-win entirely, since you can get these weapons from simple gameplay and quests and whatnot. Destiny, not so much though. Since these emotes you can only get from the store. Even then, the gear does not really do anything besides make you glow or make you look like you are Taken. My conclusion, both games are fun, both games have micro-transactions, and both games have issues.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Brimstone: 4/21/2016 5:32:06 PMThing is, in Destiny you would be a -blam!-ing retarded clown for buying Sterling Boxes to get the gear roll you want. Which also, doesn't have any INT/DIS/STR stat, it takes the stats from the infused item (which you have to get first), so that sad clown rolls for Hand Cannon loader or some shit. Also, considering how people already have good rolls from raid gear, it's hardly anywhere near P2W. Like at all. Example: I have Raid boots with Rocket Launcher Ammo / Sniper Ammo. Now I decide, "Eh i don't like how they look!" and start buying Sterling Treasures till i get that same roll. I Infuse it up and BAM new boots. P2W? Nope. Nowhere ner close to it. On Warframe, you pay for quick access to gear you'd have to grind a long time for. You can instantly finish crafting which otherwise takes a day or two to finish. You can buy Frames instead of farming for all parts and materials for them. You can buy the materials instead of farming them. You can buy the... Kubrows...? I think? Now you see, Destiny's microtransaction have actually zero impact on the game experience, no one is at a disadvantage. Meanwhile, Idiot McDollarface on Warframe spends $600 to stand in a god tier Frame with sweet loot and weaponry, while Scrub McUnemployed needs to grind several weeks. It's the same shit with the Level Boosters. Pay $40 for a subclass boost. Really? $40? The only thing that is obtained is the right for the people, who didn't buy that, to point and laugh at the ones who did.

1 AntwortenBuddy Ima let you finish but sterling treasures don't give 300-335 gear they give you crappy 3 defense gear then the rest is up to you to level it the gear you get anywhere else is mainly better

1 AntwortenI don't understand why anyone would want to buy the gear versus earning the gear. Just consider those people to be stupid or less intelligent then you. Let them waste their money stupidly on treasures while you go hop on an hour or 2 every other day or so and earn yours and then you will come out on top. As for Bungie I can't blame them for trying to make some money on the side. I mean in my opinion they are making it off stupid people do it doesn't apply to me at all.

1 AntwortenI don't enjoy playing Warframe. I enjoy playing Destiny

1 AntwortenWhat are you trying to accomplish with this question? Prove you're right? Prove others are wrong? It's stupid to argue this. Even if you flip a few fanboys or flip a few salt miners.. it does NOTHING. Has no effect on anything. It's just arguing for the sake of arguing with no effectual outcome other than stomping your feet saying "In your face those who disagree with me"

This post still sucks.
-
1 AntwortenFor now, Destiny is not pay to win... Yet... Reason being is you still have to farm for high enough gear to infuse into what you purchase. Plus a good chunk of the items I have gotten from treasures have zero stars on it aside the 3 armor. Beats flat out buying 335 gear right off the bat. Pray that bs never happens.
-
3 AntwortenThey're not Pay To Win but both games are walking a thin line with how it is.
-
9 AntwortenI love that everyone thinks your post sucks, but they're the ones in denial.

1 AntwortenDestiny makes playing with garbage seem like a good idea.. That's how shitty destiny is...
-
1 AntwortenBungie fanboys are flanboyants that suck bungies weiner.
-
1 AntwortenTBH I just haven't enjoy my time on Warframe not because of micro transactions but it just felt meh..
-
1 AntwortenJeez, you really think that getting gear in sterling treasure is that bad. Since you can buy it, OH GOD PAY 2 WIN. The problem is that it comes at 3 light. Sure with 1 to 1 infusion I could max it out. But if I have a 335 Trials Helm with a good roll on it, I need to get a helmet, that has a good/better roll, to infuse it. When you look at it, it's a horrible system because if I want an Int/Dis roll but get Int/Str roll, the gear I get from sterling treasure is horrible.
-
Destiny is incredible. The new micro transactions have me stoked.
-
So what, both have mictotransactions. Who gives a shit.
-
-
2 AntwortenBut neither game is pay to win. So I know where you are coming from.
-
21 AntwortenYou can buy any item in Warframe with real money. I guess you're saying that Bungie implemented a system that allows us to buy any item we want? Weird, I hadn't heard that.
-
I would say this doesn't belong on Feedback. Maybe move this topic to the Gaming section? ♡♡

5 AntwortenWhy the -blam!- would you come to destiny forums bitching about a game that noone here gives a damn about is considered p2w by people that dont give a shit about it when compared to a game that currently is t p2w on ita forums????
-
2 AntwortenOkay, you straight up just buy sterling treasure and do nothing else, no content, because this would be a true pay to win, and I will play the game not spending a dime. Let's see who comes out on top.
-
2 AntwortenNot an asskisser. Look at my forum posts. I hunt asskissers and call them out, but you're wrong here man. In order to even make the armor high light you need to have armor that's already high. I can't buy gear that's high light. The perks on the gear aren't pay to win either. Reloading faster with hand cannons? That perk is on existing armor. The perks on the sterling treasure gear exists on every armor piece in destiny. None of it is exclusive to it nor is it game breaking.
-
3 AntwortenArmor perks barely change the game. The only armor perks that really matter are the heavy/special ammo perks, hand cannon loader, infusion, and inverse shadow. None of those are he difference between life and death in PvE and PvP either. Stop trying to start drama over something that's a non issue. Now if you could buy guns THEN I'd have a problem with it.
