A sincere thank you to Bungie.
Dear Bungie,
I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for creating Destiny. Because today it has been my escape from a great pain I have suffered. Today I lost my mom. She had been fighting a very hard and long fight with many health issues she had been dealing with over the past few years, and today she finally gave up the fight. After saying good bye and spending time with my family, playing Destiny has helped me escape for a while. Pummeling the forces of darkness with my titans fist has been extremely satisfying and relaxing for me in this painful time. So once again, thank you for creating this world that I can escape to for a while and play with my friends. Please keep up the good work, and keep feeding me more fodder for my fists.

1 AntwortenTo OP. Sorry to hear about your mom but I am glad you have an outlet to help cope with that. I would suggest that you edit your post and change "and today she finally gave up the fight" to "and today she finally finished her fight." I am sure she gave it one hell of a battle. To everyone who says this post is for attention; who gives a flying turd! If it was for attention shame on him but if it is genuine ... lets just say that it would be better to be positive to a fake post than to be an ass to a real one. You know saying such a thing only makes you look as bad as someone who really does post for attention. Seriously why would that be the first/only thing to come to your head?! For the ones who say it because they really are assholes and they know it, by all means do the hokey pokey and turn yourself about because I know there is no swaying your ways of the dark.

Ironically that's why I'm still here. Destiny came out at the perfect time, I'd also been going through a rough period in life. Had a lot of good times despite bungos screw ups

Sorry for your loss, but let's be thankful he suffering is over man. The hardest thing in life to learn is letting go. We don't cherish things Bc they last forever. Things must end. Be thankful for the memories and be happy she's in a better place
