The new bullet layouts are a joke (pve)
i get 14 bullets from my sniper in pve, now this wouldn't be so bad if what bungle said about more frequent ammo drops. But alas I've noticed no difference in ammo drops which turns into running around like a blueass fly looking for sniper rounds...
all i can say is a BIG THANKS to the PvP community for ruining this game.. bungie stop with the nerfing to pve because it's now shite.

EDIT 1... it's happening a lot to the community, unless bungie increase the ammo drops drastically or reduce synths timers drastically then am just going to moan and probably just carry on like i have to.... please un nerf pve and i wont slap the next pvp cry baby nerfing bumnugget
edit 2... bungie can i have you're info on this, like wjere the hell is the extra ammo drops. On kings fall every boss you need to stand in a certain place for dps, no time to pop synth or go looking for ammo...
PLEASE UN NERF PVE or am goona go play paperboy on my Commodore 64 at least they wont nerf my newspapers if i throw to many.

Bro. I get a TOTAL of 11 bullets in my longbow. It's unacceptable for pve. PVP is fine with this change, but pve is not.

Ive been waiting forever for my P&T. I was looking for special ammo earlier, killed about 65 enemies before i found an ammo crate and. IT DROPS 3 ROUNDS. Restore the special ammo to its former glory and fix the magazine on P&T. no more four round snipers please.

They reduced the ammo load to make players move and become more mobile and use their problem solving skills in order to overcome a challenge. I think the balance is just fine with reduced ammo. It makes me work more. PvP is not even altered by this. At no point have I or anyone I know blown through 22 shots of a sniper rifle before grabbing another ammo crate. This has far less to do with PvP than it does for players in PvE that rely entirely on special weapons. It also helps raids because now the Black Spindle cant fire, non-stop, on a boss for the entire damage cycle. Again, it encourages the use of other weapons. If you can't hack it without special ammo, get a better primary weapon. Problem solved.

There is ABSOLUTELY no reason why Bungie can't deploy a profile/mode system. Meaning, if you select Crucible Mode then a "crucible profile" is loaded for your character so you get say 15 sniper rounds. However, if you select "anything other than crucible" then a different profile is loaded restoring the sniper ammo to say 24 (what my StillPiercer used to hold). My guess is Bungie's PvP teams don't work with the PvE teams during development. Bad communication is normal systemic and my guess is because they are bad at communicating to the community that they are just as bad at communicating internally. Bad management and communication are normally pervasive when we see the "outside face" of the company which is supposed to be good. Their outside face to us is horrible...imagine how crappy it is internally. This profile system would fix all this idiotic "balancing"

1 AntwortenI am a pve player also, but please stop bagging pvp players, they are complaining about how the pvp side of the game is broken. I know that it's frustrating and you are right, pve players should not take a hit because pvp needs fixing. But it's not the pvp players fault, it's the owners of the game that can't separate pvp from pve, please stop splitting the community apart because of this. I am not trying to say that you're points are wrong, they are right and as a pve player, it sucks!

The ammo drop is as inconsistent as my Ruin Wings. I was playing PoE and I was down to 3 scout rifle shots. I was completely out of Sleeper ammo and sniper rounds. Ran out of primary and had to use my FoH and a pulse grenade to get a heavy ammo and primary to drop...then I have it where the room is littered with special ammo just to progress to the next room or portion of a strike.

If you're like most people in this forum, you probably took "more ammo drops" to mean "constant ammo drops". I've definitely been seeing more. The drops are more than enough.
