The new bullet layouts are a joke (pve)
i get 14 bullets from my sniper in pve, now this wouldn't be so bad if what bungle said about more frequent ammo drops. But alas I've noticed no difference in ammo drops which turns into running around like a blueass fly looking for sniper rounds...
all i can say is a BIG THANKS to the PvP community for ruining this game.. bungie stop with the nerfing to pve because it's now shite.

EDIT 1... it's happening a lot to the community, unless bungie increase the ammo drops drastically or reduce synths timers drastically then am just going to moan and probably just carry on like i have to.... please un nerf pve and i wont slap the next pvp cry baby nerfing bumnugget
edit 2... bungie can i have you're info on this, like wjere the hell is the extra ammo drops. On kings fall every boss you need to stand in a certain place for dps, no time to pop synth or go looking for ammo...
PLEASE UN NERF PVE or am goona go play paperboy on my Commodore 64 at least they wont nerf my newspapers if i throw to many.

When I read about it I thought it would be an issue, I've ran the raid since the Nerf, and tbh it doesn't make that much difference, everyone's light has gone up, so everyone is doing more dps

1k ys sniper ammo on boots and chest armour, perk on sniper for more reserve ammo ............ And 18 shots is what I get. We had more than that with no gear before patch

With the ammo changes they nerfed pve harder then pvp.

1 AntwortenMaybe they looked at the data and realised people hardly ever use synths on hard raid. That and everyone's light has gone up. So it makes dps a little longer and boss encounters marginally tougher. Adapt or leave.

2 AntwortenThere must be a point to reducing ammo and increasing drops. I'm still looking for that point. IMO, it's to get you to grind more so you have to buy more synths. If PVP needed more ammo restriction, that has nothing to do with PVE. If it was easier to globally reduce ammo, then reprogram synth cool down to a shorter timer to compensate. Synth is irrelevant in PVP, so it would not be affected. That was not done. The game takes longer as a result. It's not more difficult. The enemy has an endless supply, I have less ammo, same 5 minute timer, and the drops are among the enemy. Seems like a joke... Today, for the first time, I just quit. Ran dry doing Challenge solo. Ran around looking for primary and the ground is green. Enemy hovering around the drops. Saw 1 white reload, picked it up and got 70 bullets for my scout. I said F'k this and left! Never ran out of bullets unless that was the modifier. 20/204 scout, 4/12 sniper, 5 rockets. 1 primary dropped in first round! That's all. Enemy, unlimited everything. I call that BS, not a Challenge. I don't mind doing something hard or nearly impossible, but, if I have ammo I have a chance. Slim, but, a chance. This is just stupid. I hate stupid so I walked away. Bungie, get this: you want to limit PVP ammo, do that. Don't try to BS the PVE world into thinking you cannot program PVP differently to PVE. Too hard to reprogram all the guns, fine, limit the ammo globally. But, you can lower the synth timer to compensate. Synth only works in PVE. Oh, wait, something only works in PVE? Really....

The worst part is, Bungie treats pvp and pve almost the same, when they're completely different.

I found I'm having to kill enemies in a group either with RL, grenades or supers in order to get ammo to drop (especially special ammo). Individual kills hardly drop anything at all.

I'm finding myself out of all ammo quite frequently. It's almost like the nerfed ammo drops as opposed to buff them.

It's so dumb. We have nerfed ammo capacity in PvE because, why? Because Bungie wants the grenade in PvE to act like the grenade in PvP. Makes a ton of sense to keep PvP and PvE ammo capacity aligned, right? The grenade makes sense, bungie, but the ammo capacity DOES NOT. Fix it.

I ran out of primary and special yesterday while patrolling the Cosmodrome for taken. I was using a new legendary auto rifle that holds approximately 700 rounds and I changed sniper rifles. I lost all my special ammo when I changed (just trying out new snipers) and I had just used a heavy ammo synth so I could use a different heavy weapon. No ammo drops anywhere and it was during a public event.

I've had no problem with ammo drops in most activities, except the raid. Ran up to Oryx last night and had a total of 1 heavy brick drop. Warpriest was so much harder because no one in the group had any special ammo drop. I've never gone through so many synths in one raid.

A big problem is that because ammo boxes drop bullet at a % of your total capacity each box drops much less than before... 3-4 bullets instead of 6-7

2 AntwortenSeriously. I ran out of all ammo during Warpriest. I have never run out of all of them before. And when I went to get some off the floor, there were maybe two boxes total.

I do dislike the PvE nerf to special and heavy ammo. Sure they increased the drop rates, which I have seen with my own two eyes. Still they need to unnerf PvE's ammo back to the way it was. Also if you don't designate very small windows for an "ammo run" during the raids, then good luck with that. Warpriest ammo runs? Kill all the ads on your side, get ammo and go back to position Golgoroth ammo runs? Same as above. Sisters ammo run? Well...you'll mostly be using your primary and secondary so you should be fine, just don't miss Oryx ammo run? There are VERY small windows to use a synthesis and make a quick run, you just need to be careful and move quickly
