I know this is probably a hot topic but I'd like some advice before using the spark of light that comes with my copy of the game. What class should I use? When I play games I like to play a somewhat balanced roll and I like to dish out damage when things get hairy. What are your thoughts? Please include class and subclass. Thanks!

Xb1 or ps4? If xb1, do the refer-a-friend with me so we both get a cool shader?!

Bearbeitet von Myythicz: 4/14/2016 10:55:50 PMWhatever you want. All of the classes are good. PVE/PVP Class and Subclass Hunter Bladedancer-Invisibility is good for PVE situations. This class can also be set up for PVP as well. Nightstalker-Mainly for PVE, but can be set up for PVP use. Gunslinger-Good for PVP. Not that good in PVE unless you use Celestial Nighthawk for bosses. Titan Striker-Good for both PVE and PVP. Can be used for big groups of enemies. Sunbreaker-Good for PVP and not bad in PVE. You can use hammers for single enemies or groups of enemies. Defender-Very helpful in PVE. Can be used in PVP but it's not very helpful unless you use it for defense. Warlock Voidwalker-Very good for both PVP and PVE. Used for big groups of enemies but can also be used for a single enemy but it's not that effective because you could've just shot one person. Sunsinger-Very good in PVP and useful in PVE. The grenades on this subclass are great. You can use self resurrect in PVE situations and also to help your team in PVP if you're in a no respawning PVP game mode such as Trials of Osiris. Stormcaller-Very good for clearing enemies. Very helpful in PVE. It is also good in PVP. You can decide which class. Eventually you should get 1 of each class.

Bearbeitet von reedobar: 4/14/2016 10:52:11 PMI can help you with all the game's activities and stuff. Friend me on Xbox. My gt's LordCaboose42. We can do a quest for special stuff too if you go here: https://www.bungie.net/en/ReferAFriend?code=RAF-9VY-TNY-GRY

Bearbeitet von arosa-gti: 4/14/2016 10:53:20 PMThe hunter is the easier one to play with, I would pick that at first. When you think you're ready feel free to join the fist bros (titans).

Warlock. The warlock is fun as it is powerful. Use void walker for PvP and storm caller/sunsinger for pve

1 AntwortenIf you didn't know, as a new player you are eligible for a special quest called "refer a friend" within the first week of you playing, you can sync up with another player to do a unique quest. All the steps get you special cosmetic gear that is exclusive to that quest. If you have a friend or someone you play with then I'd reccomend syncing up on bungie.net before your week is up!

Hunter- use gunslinger up to lol 25 then unlock night stalker asap, it's great for pvp and pve. All classes are good and whatever you choose you'll be fine with, buy I'd recommend night stalker predominantly

3 spaces, 3 classes and 3 races... have some variety in your game time having the same class more than one sounds boring to me...
-
I know this isn't particularly helpful, but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. They all have something unique and powerful to bring. None of them have a steep learning curve, so you won't feel lost with any of them.

Hunter. Duh.
-
2 AntwortenHunters are the best class for pve or pvp and most fun to play, warlocks are kind of novel, they have a niche. Titans are lame.
-
When I've introduced the game to friends in the past, they seem to lean toward the Titan. All the abilities are fairly straightforward and conventional. Fortunately, if you aren't happy with your first choice, you can try another.

1 AntwortenThe best class is putting the game back where you found it. Once you hit level 40, the struggle is real. If you want a game that makes grinding worthwhile AND is free, check out Warframe, it's leagues above Destiny in terms of....well, everything.
-
4 AntwortenReturn the game while you still can. A -blam!-ing flash game has more content than Destiny.

ALL OF THEM

Defender titan. Best pve class right now.
-
3 AntwortenJust a tip, Op, for those suggesting Nightstalker, Sunbreaker, or Stormcaller, the main TTK story must be completed before unlocking these subclasses.
-
Titans are a good choice if you want to do a little of everything in the game. Strikers for PvP and defender for pve mostly. But I do main a Warlock and personally i would say void Walker is the most fun class to use in the game.
-
Play each class to lvl 10 then decide for yourself.
-
Honestly as a hunter i would recommend a titan just cuz they are great for pve and the raid
-
Choose random the 3 are equal

4 AntwortenHunter or Warlock

Hunter is the best class if you learn to perfect it. Most pro's use hunter because you pretty much have to perfect it's movements for pvp. Warlock is really easy to get used to, it also has self res which helps a lot on raids and nightfalls. Titan is the most useful because most of the raid you need a defender titan. I'm a hunter but I would probably go for warlock right now because they are good and really easy to use. If you're a pvp'er I would go with hunter.

Warlocks are the best beginner class. Their melee locks on from further and with stronger assist from the game. Most of their grenades are good for pve. Sunsingers have a Do Over button as a super. Void Walker have a ranged Fist of Havoc. Their class also leans towards Recovery meaning you can spec for armor as a secondary stat and never be vulnerable for very long. Titans are next up as a nice do it all class. They're probably the best for PVE with the defender class. Hunters are great for PvP but only the Night stalker ever really shines in PVE. Arc Blade serves as a great way to revive players in harder Content Golden Gun doesn't do enough damage in PVE. Hope this helps. Ive maxed out all subclasses and I've played all subclasses extensively. I started as a Titan but I mostly play Hunter for Crucible.
