Just got the game! What class?
I know this is probably a hot topic but I'd like some advice before using the spark of light that comes with my copy of the game. What class should I use? When I play games I like to play a somewhat balanced roll and I like to dish out damage when things get hairy. What are your thoughts? Please include class and subclass. Thanks!

Give a warlock a shot..if you set them them up right you can tank a lot of stuff while laughing and walking away victorious..

Try checking out some lore and choose the class that appeals to you the most from it. It is an rpg after all. Or think of knight, mage, rogue stereotypes.

Should start out with a warlock, because that's easiest and will keep you alive in difficult missions. Then you can take high level gear from your warlock to infuse into gear for your next character when you make it. Warlocks are the selfish class which is good because starting out you won't be looking to be a support class. My warlock is still my main lol

Made a Hunter.. damn. Haven't touched the other two since. It's better to run through all 3 to really find your niche class lol. Basically, any void subclass is amazing.

Balance and damage by far would be hunter but, try them all see. I personally have played a hunter since i started so its sentimental to me. They are really fun and the fastest class so you can be in and out of that hairy situation in an instant as well

If you are a pig-headed bastard who refuses to ease your K/D higher by selecting the best neutral game like me, play a warlock in PvP. Consider trying a Voidwalker. A Nova Bomb is a micro-apocalypse in your fist. It's just the ticket when shit absolutely, positively needs to take a dirt nap. We throw the best parties. Hookers and blow every Friday after work. The ski week we organize in January is pretty damned insane. I have some interesting video of the Speaker puking into a green titan helmet at the last ski trip. The wild stories you've heard about the Voidwalker's conference in Hawaii are all true but we didn't start the fire in the hotel, that was the titans. So try a Voidwalker, chicks dig Voidwalkers. Space magic, it's how I roll.

Warlocks are probably the best for starting off solo. I'd recommend voidwalker just because it's fun and can dish out lots of damage with grenades and the super.

They're all pretty solid. The Warlock jump takes the mkst getting used to. Titans have some fantastic exotic armour for when you level up, Warlocks have some devastating class specific weapons and Hunters have great mobility options for scrambling in and out of tough spots. Hunter supers are in kind of a weak spot compared to the others for PvE but the tether arrow is great. Just starting out? I'd go Warlock for solo play until you fall in with a group.

Warlock. Stormcaller, voidwalker, and sunsingers with fire born which brings you back to life and the op firebolt nades with Viking funeral and touch of flame.

The hunter is a good starting class. Titans and warlocks are a bit more difficult to use.
