I know this is probably a hot topic but I'd like some advice before using the spark of light that comes with my copy of the game. What class should I use? When I play games I like to play a somewhat balanced roll and I like to dish out damage when things get hairy. What are your thoughts? Please include class and subclass. Thanks!

How did I know he was gonna be a Hunter?

Bearbeitet von Gus: 4/18/2016 7:33:21 PMCan't go wrong with a Titan Defender. Most reliable class/subclass in PvE. And with the right build can be a force in PvP. Edit: Oops to late to save you. You're now a Hunter main. Lol

To get the most out of the game, create one of each.

He's made his choice! ... He's a Hunter! Let's hope you are more mature than most...

I'm assuming since you are now level 40, and probably thinking about leveling up for a raid, do court of oryx, as it gives you many engrams which will help raise your light. Open them one at a time, check if it is higher, and put it on. Then do the next etc. just make sure when you go there, you are the one to put in those runes so you get the most rewards.

Get all three of each class. Hunter, striker, and warlock. If you get gear for another character then transfer it over. never get 2+ of the same character. It sets you up for being flamed when you make a complaint post PvP related in the future or any post regarding a nerf in PvP. There are 'class mains' here so yeah. Insults will include: Titard/crytan, huntard, whorelock, and some other (un)creative and (un)original insults. Also a change of pace from time to time If you're tired of a certain character. And beware of salty PvP and T-bags in the crucible. Its bound to happen in any competitive game. And please press the right stick/r3 button when you get any gear you want to keep to lock it. It prevents accidental dismantles with purple and yellow gear. (it happens quite often in the past)
other than that, happy darkness slaying little light
Warlock is a lot of fun and I feel is best to start out with first BC they're easy to use and just fun:)

Warlock and titans subclasses are handier starting out in pve id say, but hunter is probably the best for pvp but it also comes down to play style and preference, try them all :)

Never go Hunter.

They are all fun. Gunslinger with 3x reload & stability stack on weapons, cool tripmines, combustion on the gg, warlock solar nade spam, titan with weapons of light. I think you will like all 3 classes quite equally after you get use to them

1 AntwortenI was gonna say go with the Hunter but I see you already did, smart choice, the Hunter is extremely fun class especially the Nightstalker subclass.

Bearbeitet von Talk2MeToner: 4/18/2016 12:29:54 AMWarlock is very fun. Stormcaller is a massive mob killer that lets you clear more mobs way faster than anyone else around you. If you want to feel power you will like it. However that's assuming you have TTK and also you need to earn that subclass via quest. In the meantime voidwalker is still great to pack a big punch and once you get sunsinger its great for survival in raids Second choice is Titan Fist of Havoc and shoulder charge are some of the most fun moves to use and shoulder charge can be used a lot. Also one you get defender you're a huge asset to the team and sunbreaker you will feel extremely powerful and own mobs and melt strike bosses with the Melee melting point. It's very close to as fun as warlock and Titan skating if you look that up is very fun. I love the Titan jumps even more than the warlock

Do all three so when you get armor for another class you can say " Sweet my other dude needed this "

Bearbeitet von Blame: 4/17/2016 6:01:02 PMHunter all classes r good but I prefer Nightstalkers with shadestep and bones of eao with increased control. If u r gonna play pve this is best class and it has AMAZING neutral game in PvP with a super good counter super

From your description Warlock void walker. But play all three and try all subclasses when you have time as they all have something special going for them. Other than golden gun hunter, never got the hang/point of that ;)
-
All 3 for maximum glory
-
Warlock.
-
Warlock!
-
Titan. Sunbreaker is excellent for clearing out enemies in a room, Defender is good for defending your teammates, and Striker is great for making those pesky warlocks and hunters get shoulder charged in the face.

All three don't dismantle items for the other characters makes them super easy to level up and no exotics will be a bummer to get
