Yeah, I got a 325 Purifier Robes from a Xur's engram from last week

I had farmed over 30 exotic engrams. Since this was announced, I am happy I did not listen to certain people on my friends list.

I had a few exotic engrams, not cause I was saving them but because I forgot to decode them after I played last time. Which was last iron banner.

I can admit I was wrong.. it finally paid off for a few people.. good job. I suggested people keep them only if they had the space for the rep to cryptarch and several of my clan did just that but, nobody hoarded them.. I wish I had.. I had over 45 and got rid of them a few weeks ago just piling up in my inventory.

2 AntwortenI had 81 exotic engrams to open! Only opened about 10 and all above 320 with a couple of 328's :-) Saving the rest until i get above 330! And people laughed at me saying it wouldn't work... suckers!

I had some legendaries engrams I forgot to open bc I got off right after the raid Monday night and opened it yesterday and got a 300 read death from my class item engram ^_^ then I got blue boots at 317 lmao

2 AntwortenWeirdest thing happened to me; I ended up saving just 1 Legendary Engram before the update dropped, and it gave me a Year 1 Legendary helmet from House of Wolves at 160 Light. What the hell?

yep, I had 35 Exotics and 53 Legendaries. The legendaries still dropped pre-update gear, but the light level did increase per drop, and several turned into new Exotics.

I feel sorry for people who took their advice and saved nothing.

The problem is they were wrong in realizing that this is NOT a DLC, it's an 'update' that acts pretty much like the sparrow races and IB. That is the reason why holding your engrams worked. I knew it and farmed the heck out of Omnibitch to get legendary/blue engrams, and held on to a few exotic engrams. Granted, I only got a few new armor pieces from all the legendary engrams, and I didn't get a 'new' weapon (sucks, but no big deal)- but I'm pretty happy overall.

Welp bungie will probly regret it in the end. But remember nothing decripts much higher then your highest light level item.
