The division shows up how empty destiny is as an RPG. Because they are different game styles that I love (the Division 3rd person RPG vs great 1st person gameplay mechanics from Destiny) I quickly begin wandering around looking for something to do in Destiny but since nothing pve fun advances my character (and there being actually little to no point for me levelling up past my 1st hard mode raid completion ) I switch to The Division for the RPG experience. To sum it up for me, Destiny, the division, Guildwars 2 and Planetside 2 is what I expected year 1 destiny to be...... If Bungie continue down the road of non-open world, rinse and repeat strikes and no wildlife or dynamic mission events with true mmo environments, it will always remain a great gameplay demo from a 4th year Computer Arts University team.
