Even in the third video, the tripmine is able to kill 2 people that both have overshields along with the 3rd teammate. Hell, some of these clips could be impressive with a nova bomb, let alone one grenade. There's also a lot more clips where this came from.
in all serious, I don't think these grenades need to be nerfed; I'm just comparing it to firebolts which people say do need to be balanced. Well, one firebolt could never pull off any of these clips.
In some cases, you can survive tripmines, but only if you run high armor builds.
Here's a thought: run high recovery if you want to get into the fight faster after you get hit by a firebolt.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
4 AntwortenYou are not a Titan main. You are a warlock main. 17 days played on a warlock, only 3 days on Titan. Plus, if you had more time on your hunter you wouldn't even be complaining about tripmines.
-
6 AntwortenIf you run high armor, a tripmine won't even kill you (Unless you get stuck). Getting multi kills with a grenade is just luck. It's not because tripmine are OP.
-
OP, those are all YEAR 1 clips. I will only acknowledge their power of I see some clips from this meta.
-
U shut your dirty whore mouth, leave my beloved tripmines alone

This is the worst post I've ever seen.

I don't think so, Tim.

3 AntwortenShut up nerfherder.
-
I just like them stick to me when the lighting grenade can't do that
-
Well i enjoy shooting them so they explode hopefully while my opponent is near it
-
I Main a warlock and if they are Op then you have to be just as careful cuz you can't Trip Mine yourself just as easily
-
Honestly those are just really good plays. Coming from a warlock main To me it's all about timing. Most people are mad at firebolts because the burn takes them out the fight . But sometimes you have to retreat to win
-
Anyone know if the sword will block trip mine explosion.
-
Trip mines are my bros

6 AntwortenTrip mine grenades only do 194 damage when stuck to a surface. They do between 200-203 damage when you get stuck. Why would they need a nerf??? Theres no reason for a nerf. If anyone has max armor they can survive a tripmine. Please stop trying to nerf needless things. Its foolish

2 AntwortenGo change your diapers.
-
Yes they are way too strong and the cone is way too large.
-
6 AntwortenRun a high armor build and as long as you have full health you can tank tripmines, even if they are stuck to you.
-
1 AntwortenStop crying. Boo hoo

There needs to be a NERF section on fourms, ninjas? Agree? You guys would be moving half the posts there but it would be sectioned to people who care.

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zoey: 4/9/2016 2:35:30 PMEveryone running a low armour build will die to a tripmine. They used to kill NO MATTER WHAT back in Vanilla when they were actually good. No-one cares that a Firebolt does so much damage, people care that it does so much damage over TIME for something that people can throw blindly and still take you out of the game for fourteen seconds, and that they get the ability to do this every 25 seconds. If I'm going up against a Sunsinger in a 3v3 and they hit me with a Firebolt at every opportunity including overtime, I can't fight for 84 seconds, and I can fight for 66 seconds. That is stupid for a grenade. No, a firebolt cannot kill 3 people BY ITSELF, however, if you bodyshot each player in a 3v3, and then throw a Firebolt, not only will it tag people in a bigger radius than a tripmine would, there is no way out of it other than Shadestep, and it WILL kill them unless they can proc Cauterize/ Hungering Blade/ etc. Not to mention the chance of them actually doing that is miniscule because Bungie ruined Red Death, the only reliable way to counteract DoT. Tl;dr: Viking Funeral is the problem, not Firebolts Edit: And there is no way they can say 'we couldn't do anything to change it without rebuilding the entire subclass' about the Warlock after the absolute disgusting mess they turned Sunbreaker into.

Only time you should die from tripmines is if you get stuck by one. I mean they glow bright ass red
