Do you want pvp and pve stats to be different so guns could have different things like shotguns could be like they were in house of wolves and balanced in pvp or Stormcaller can last for a small amount in pvp and much longer in Pve
Bump the shit out of this guys we need separate stats
Why would anyone say no please say why you would object
This would be things like ammo count or damage over time or gun damage and range nothing huge

2 AntwortenI've said this for months. Create two sets of all weapon classes. Pvp designed weapons and pve designed weapons. Either can be used in either game mode but the weappns' perks are designed toward their intended game mode. That is, when they roll out blanket nerfs it only effects the game mode the nerfs (or buffs) were designed for.

4 AntwortenNo, if you are going to try SO DAMN HARD to make pvp balanced then you need a separate set of pvp weapons altogether. Go to the gunsmith and grab your standard scout, pulse, ar, handcannon, whatever. If pvp is supposed to be develop your skill then we should all use crap weapons so when we go out in pve we FEEL how superior it is.

This is not expert level coding to have it separate for PVP & PVP. The part that makes Bungie look really stupid is that they are bragging about Challenge of Elders being 16 weeks of new content with the modifier combinations. Then they nerf ammo on our snipers and Quillims in PVE.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Raised By Wolves: 4/8/2016 11:58:11 PMYou mean like what they did with shotguns in the house of wolves? They increased the damage in pve but that didn't effect the damage of shotguns in pve...

5 AntwortenI say "hell yes" (as like most of us), but what does this matter? Bungie doesn't really give a crap about what we think. They just go to their little charts they keep and make desicions based on these numbers they generate.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Benzene21: 4/8/2016 6:33:36 PMThey won't do it. It takes some work and time and I don't you know if you think like this, but Destiny is the definition of lazy video game design. That's my observation since I started playing it. I would be really surprised if they do this in the future.

3 AntwortenAnyway this already happens. In normal crucible mode light advantages are disabled so armor and weapons ALREADY behave differently in crucible vs. pve. It's preposterous to pretend otherwise.
-
18 AntwortenI cannot believe how many people voted yes. WHY would you guys want guns to behave differently in pvp and pve. That's absurd and I've never heard of a game doing this. Please explain

2 AntwortenI imagine that could make things confusing to people who play both PVE and PVP regularly.

I will miss Transedence in PvE(I never used it in PvP, I preferred Pulse Wave)

2 AntwortenWhy can't they just add a nerf to damage done to Guardians per weapon or weapon type if they are so unbalanced? Must be more examples of some poorly written code or horrible coding tools. Seems like an easy fix (other games can tweak much quicker) especially when they can tweak that much easier than removing perks or changing perks that partially/completely ruin the PvE experience. I bet they don't even look at PvE stats. If they did they'd probably see 0/10,000,000 players use hand cannons, sidearms and shotguns in hard KF. Everything they do is for the greater PvP good and to hell with PvE balance or variety unless you want to be at a huge disadvantage or nearly useless.
