Imagine what it would be like. Imagine the kind of community we'd have. Imagine who would be here, and who would not be here. (The influential people like mtashed.).
I'm kinda curious what you would think it would be like. And I think we already know we wouldn't have all the PvP complainers.
"Nerf this, nerf that, this is op, this lag is retarded" etc etc.
Edit: No PvP would mean they focus more on PvE, which means more content.
Edit2: It was brought up that PvP killed Defiance too. And they're completely right. Everything was nerfed into the ground because of the PvP community, which in turn killed PvE. They eventually just nerfed all damage by 60% in PvP.
Edit3: People saying it would be dead. I would have to disagree, there are a lot of games that focus on PvE and they do great. I know Destiny is a little different but it's still the same concept.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Gaz (Inept): 4/7/2016 3:34:21 PMI'd have a year two Thorn. Massive impact and original DoT. The perfect hand cannon for running strikes. I'd have a Vex Mythoclast in all its original glory. I'd have a weapon worthy of its hard-VoG-as-a-27 reward. I'd have a wide selection of auto rifles... Shadow Price if using another exotic, Suros if not.

3 AntwortenAlso, if we didn't have the stinking PvP we'd probably have a real in-game matchmaking capability and 3 person raids. Now that would be heaven!!
-
1 AntwortenHard to say. If I get a 335 Primary from POE I will have to see if it's any good. The last batch of POE weapons were pretty underwhelming so here's hoping that this time around the weapons are good and FUN to use.

2 AntwortenYou wouldn't have a game of it wasn't for PvP. You really think people would still be playing the same old story missions over and over again? Lol
-
It'd be fantastic
-
Destiny would've long been dead. Crucible is what kept the game alive when there was nothing to do in between DLC's.
-
5 AntwortenThat is one of my requests from y1. Make the game offline. Online only is quite lame.
-
It would be horrible the only reason I'm still playing is because of pvp

Bearbeitet von Jio: 4/7/2016 11:27:44 PMI don't think it'd be much different. We just wouldn't have the Crucible, but I think people would still complain about weapons. If they didn't have X weapon, they'd complain about being kicked from a raid/fireteam. If Destiny were just pvp, they would always go through balance changes that would end up circling right back to the same problem, oversaturation. I don't see why revives in pve needed to be nerfed? Why did shotguns get nerfed again???? There weren't any significant pve changes to offset the nerfs. Like, if pve enemies dropped as quickly as Guardians did, I wouldn't have an issue at all. First, there's the Division making the grind a GRIND for material. Now, we have Destiny outright reducing the pve experience because of pvp and even kind of making pvp seem less fun tbh. Your popular weapons get nerfed because they were popular???????? At the very least, I'll have Dark Souls 3 to enjoy. No Man's Sky in the Summer.

In a perfect world that would be... Sadly this isn't... This was marketed as a large open world PvE game and yet all we got was a PvP focused game with some PvE tacked on...
-
That would be terrible
-
This game was developed based on the idea of pve somewhere down the line they lost sight of that and just decided to do pvp things like iron banner monthly and trials every weekend. The pvp in destiny could be way better but bungie doesn't know how to balance anything.
-
It would be heaven with a real story and no stinking PvP. I can dream...
-
2 Antwortenwhat would you have done for the past 3 months without pvp? Force your way through three raids to get drops you don't like, then hop off line for the week.
-
1 AntwortenThe egos of PvP players never fail to amaze me, they're like the all star jocks in highschool who think the world revolves around them. Gamers did just fine before you guys started playing and games will survive without you too.
-
Destiny without pvp would have pushed bungie and activision to re-make the game. With all the time spent on bullsht SrL and crucible bollox that still hasn't ended up being the open world mmo pvp experience most of us are after, the pve side would have been 2 years ahead. I came back tonight for 1 nightfall to check out what's changed after being away for 3 months and I got a 300 shotgun....Fkn boooorrrriiiiinnggg!!!!
-
PVE would be glorious because PVP wouldn't drag it down like an annoying little brother.
-
I thought that it would be a pve only game with new raids and missions and all, but................ .....we get pvp instead.
-
5 AntwortenI have. PvP wasn't suppose to be in destiny, that's why there's so many flaws but it wouldn't have gotten this far with just PvP.
-
but if PVP and PVE are supposed to feel the same why are some perks on gear limited to PVE encounters, or minions of darkness alone??? this alone makes weapons preform differently in PVP to begin with since some players get only PVP perks on gear, while other players might have PVE perks making their guns feel and work completely different??? thus making bungies statement immediately false due to the differences??? +-+ InfinitySerpent >:(

Omg...lets go back for vog and crota guys! XD
-
In my head if we lacked PVP in Destiny there would've been "content" in Vanilla destiny and so on. I like this thought, never came to mind.
-
Sweet original story unchanged

3 AntwortenImagine life without this post for a second. Cool, right?
-
I play both but I would probably stop playing because pvp is what keeps me coming back.... even if it is just basic 6v6.
-
I wouldn't play it.
