Imagine what it would be like. Imagine the kind of community we'd have. Imagine who would be here, and who would not be here. (The influential people like mtashed.).
I'm kinda curious what you would think it would be like. And I think we already know we wouldn't have all the PvP complainers.
"Nerf this, nerf that, this is op, this lag is retarded" etc etc.
Edit: No PvP would mean they focus more on PvE, which means more content.
Edit2: It was brought up that PvP killed Defiance too. And they're completely right. Everything was nerfed into the ground because of the PvP community, which in turn killed PvE. They eventually just nerfed all damage by 60% in PvP.
Edit3: People saying it would be dead. I would have to disagree, there are a lot of games that focus on PvE and they do great. I know Destiny is a little different but it's still the same concept.

No reason to play it!
-
Then it would be the division. Dark zone is still mostly pve. Without pvp to spice things up and give a change of pace once in a while, destiny would become stale. It's not the fact that both pvp and pve exist, it's that bungie has forgotten what balance truly means and what the importance of play testing their changes before releasing them actually does. We wouldn't need any of the buff pulse, nerf pulse, and then buff this archetype of pulse again if they actually did that.
-
All the cabal would be on here asking for nerfs. Seriously though, as long as more content was delivered it would be great. I can't think of anything that's been changed in pve because it unbalanced pve
-
destiny without pvp is better.
-
There would be no reason to stay. Unless it caused them to get there act together and pump out a lot more content. PvE replayability is dangerously low. PvP is the o my reason I, and many many other players are still here.
-
I would love no PvP. It would make my exotics feel like exotics again.
-
I agree tbh. If PvP wasn't such a thing, we wouldn't have all these people bitching for nerfs.
-
We would have enough sniper ammo for a raid. Auto rifles would have been viable in year one. We would be able to use hand cannons in endgame pve. We would be able to carry more heavy ammo. Sunbreaker would still be a viable subclass. We wouldn't have all of those raid matchmaking posts. Their would be no gun or subclass nerf posts. Etc.
-
Much better, no whining that our guns kill things
-
Much better overall. Far less toxicity and more focus on actual story and content.
-
Destiny would be hundreds of time better
-
Meh, the game would have been below average The player base would be greatly cut

3 Antworten-just got done doing the raid on all 3 characters. -Want to do them again? -not really. ----------------------------------------------------------- Next day. -god I'm bored. -hey want to do the raid again? -no not only no but f no. -why the hostility? -I don't feel like spending an hour shooting at mindless drones that keep suicide rushing out of the same door I've killed them at 1000x over. Talk about boring.
-
It would be the nest game ever Imagine this A raid every 2-3 months In major updates like tk there would be 3 raids No whiners All the noobs would be low light
-
I just dont want pvp to rule the nerf farts. But pvp is fun. I never do trials really bit lord shax bounties are fun or the dailies. But pvp whining nerfed my flame shield which will just hurt my time in the raid. Esp oryx and totems.
-
Zzzzz.... Sorry I fell asleep.
-
Nerf Suros Regime it killed that cabal too fast
-
Would probably have very few people playing it but that's just my opinion
-
2 AntwortenBorderlands. That was easy. Note that no-one plays borderlands.
-
After their BS explanation of why PvP and PvE changes can never be seperate? Slamming my arm in a car trunk door again sounds more appealing... I like Crucible in all, but if PvP was non-existent? Sure the nerfs would be way less, yet even less people would be coming back for more.
-
1 AntwortenPvp is naturally destructive. Pve in naturally constructive. Looks a lot like yin and yang. That said, separating them completely would probably be best. Just give pvp a load out style arsenal and separate stats for abilities.
-
I would have stopped playing a long time ago
-
Without pvp? They'd have to bring out content every 2 months. Meaning more money from you most likely. Pve gets boring very fast. Done the raid, what else do you do? Everything's the same..
-
Lmao, even in mmo's pve will run out, then you're doing the same thing over and over. There comes a point when that fun ends. PvP keeps things exciting. Take a game like league of legends for example. Imagine playing against bots and no one else. That game thrives because of human nature. We want to be better than others naturally. PvP brings a unique experience every time. Yes it's the same maps, same guns and same game modes. But it's hella fun everytime! You can't please everyone. Just so happens destiny has a pvp focus. If you want more pve hit up an mmo. I play mmo's for pve and destiny primarily for pvp. One love.

If there was no pvp this game would have died 60 days after TDB
