I'm surprised I'm not seeing people upset about this
From what I've heard, mida will be losing its innate high caliber rounds perk
That's a shame. I enjoyed how I could practically stun some enemies
Thoughts?

Bungie: For the interests of balancing we're going to nerf the most balanced gun since Y1. PvE guardians: Really Bungie? Bungie: Sorry who are you guys? We only care about PvP guardians as they're more likely to buy silver. PvE guardians: Oh. How about bringing back the Y1 strikes and making the first two raids relevant again? Bungie: Are you guys still here? Want to buy some silver for some shiny armour?

Huge PvE nerf, which makes me sad. But it still gives you the insane speed, I suppose.

They ruined my striker strategy with that nerf, i got 4k in pvp only on melees thanks to the plus agility of the mida and the high caliber rounds who saved me tons of times of being killed by another guy or mob in pve, the only thing the mida have to defend itself of the other weapons was that hidden perk, in the others aspects the mida is good, not op, just good. The most terrible thing about this is the null performance of the mida on pve without this perk.

3 AntwortenSmall pvp nerf Huge pve nerf

Hey it's an exotic so why should it be something special ... oh wait
-
Why put a weapon, class, skill, armor or anything else in the game just to nerf it months later? Oh yeah because people cry oh bungie they killing me with their skill on that weapon and I'm to lazy to find away to stop the player from killing me or I can't find it. I'm over people crying bout shit play the game, use your head and you'll successively win, can't no one be perfect so just have fun and get of the tit milk

As someone who has 99% of my MIDA kills in pve I hate this. MIDA does not need a nerf period. If MIDA is overused in crucible, then make other guns better. What a novel idea, one that bungie's crucible team doesn't seem to be able to understand.

Bearbeitet von Rezyl Azzir: 4/7/2016 3:14:08 AMThey should of made it into an exotic perk and made you choose between the mobility bonus or stagger... At least it wouldn't have sounded so brutal...
-
Exactly. It's a shame they are nerfing the wrong things geez
-
I wonder what's the new hidden exotic perk now

2 AntwortenI'm surprised you're not seeing people upset about it too. It's all over the forums.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von BulletX666: 4/7/2016 2:34:36 AMFine with me I never use high caliber rounds, I have always used the lightweight peek instead

2 AntwortenBungie does try force versatility. But should buff other less used guns instead of chopping down the most used

Bearbeitet von Clay COCKWIDTH: 4/7/2016 2:24:01 AMThey nerfed it because it was overused. Now, a normal team would ask WHY it's overused. Well, because they nerfed other things. I don't get pvp and i really thought nerfing this shit in pve made no sense. It never does. Whatever though, it's a game. Perhaps the sequel will find a new sandbox lead to help out with guiding the interplay between pvp/pve? I think that would be best for them. Almost every single nerf is due to pvp. I think that in itself speaks volumes about where the game is at. *he didn't say it was "OP". I remember that clearly. He said it was over used.

It sucks. It was a valid counter to people who just wanted to camp. But oh well, what can u do?
-
It was a hidden perk, and the cause its removal was PvP based. It will stop people from flinching so much when they're hit by it. But besides that it still fires the same and does the same damage so I don't think its that bad of a nerf.

Bearbeitet von ryebar: 4/7/2016 1:56:02 AMYeah the Mida being changed only because Bungie wants to quell the number of players using it seems retarded to me. I don't even use Mida in year 2 but it was one of my favourites in year 1. A great well balanced gun that was fun to use in both PVE and PVP. Removing the stagger removes a key component. I'm good with the other changes that Bungie made but shaking my head over the Mida nerf.
-
That was the only problem with the gun. I think it will be perfect now.
-
3 AntwortenNerf whatever we start using after the update. I'm not sure what's gonna be OP, but I'm calling for a nerf now.
-
I'm totally fine with this. The Mida was my first exotic, and one that I've always loved using, as it used to be a very skillful, rewarding weapon. But with the current meta, I almost felt dirty using it, because it was just so good compared to everything else, and the HC rounds were a little cheap. I'm glad that this gun returns to its skill-based roots, so I can finally use my gun again without shame.

9 AntwortenI never upgraded to a year 2 Mida and I'm pretty sure the year was the one they added high caliber to. Just checked and yeah the year one does not have high caliber rounds. I use it in regular crucible mainly and I'm a stingy bastard in Destiny so I never saw a reason to get a new one.

11 Antworten"People like using this gun, so we're going to Nerf their favorite weapon so they'll stop enjoying themselves"
-
Just nerf everything at this point. They might as well.
