Player shouldn't be able to die on respawn. If shot with a sniper the hit should only take the shield not kill them again. If shot with anything it should only take the shield during the respawn animation. How is it fair to kill someone with no chance of defending themselves?

Easy fix is don't die. Shouldn't come out of revive with so much shield. If you die you shouldn't be rewarded when revived. I'm not the greatest at trials but it should be more hardcore in my opinion.

You had your chance to kill them then you died. In trials especially orb control should be easy. You don't revive someone who is down when they are being aimed at by a sniper, and btw this is coming from a shotgunner <3

nerfed!!!

Then the shield should be taken away because death is not rewarding!

Being able to snipe or shotgun melee a rez should indeed be possible. YOU DIED there has to be some advantage to the team that killed you not the other way around. You want to be rewarded with more armour than a super has for getting killed?!? Think about what you are asking.

Rez sniping is fine. The problems are two-fold There are no real counter moves when you're reviving your team-mate. Pushing them out of the way is just taking advantage of in-game physics. Kudos is you do that. However what is needed is some real strategic options. Revive and option 1, revive and option 2 The other problem is a good sniper is near untouchable in Destiny currently. Flinch is non-existent and they can remain in-scope despite taking a face full of bullets. Once they address at least the latter, rez-sniping will be fine.

14 AntwortenBecause when people say defending themselves bother me. In order to come back from dyimg in the first place, a TEAM MATE has to revive you. You are NEVER defensless because you have to have someone there to pick you up. If you die agaon, its due to that team mate or the other, or a compbination not making sure its safe for you to come back and have a second, third, or even fourth life in a single round, when the guy who's killing you, hasn't died a single time. Why should you get such a peruod of time to run away with no fear of dying, when you just died? You either got out played, tried running alone, or the game connection resulted in your death. In any instance, why should you be rewarded a second life, simply because you don't want to die again? I say rewarded because when you die and come back, thats a reward, and if you take no damage, thats a gaurentee second life. The only modes with revives are 3v3, meaning small tactial matches that involve team work and coordination. Even if you're with randoms, you all have the same goal, win. So please, tell me why you deserve to come back to life with no fear of death?

in 3v3 game modes on the res i think the shield should be strong enough to survive anything short of a super or heavy but should only last long enough for the person to start moving or fighting and also shouldn't be given to the person doing the reviving since that sort of rewards dying and for normal respawns they should remove the animation to allow players to move immediately and to prevent people from being able to line up their sights and give a shield like i said to allow them to start moving or fighting

I would like to play a weekend of trials like this, just to see how much of a difference In the gameplay it makes. Could make for some better rounds and have major swings in momentum during each round.
