What's the purpose of Nightfall?
So I soloed the Nightfall, and as much fun as it was the drop needs a little refinement.
Come on Bungie
An Alert Horn. It even sounds rubbish.
So I ask you, Bungie, "What [u][b][i]IS[/i][/b][/u] the purpose of the Nightfall?"

1 AntwortenIt is still useful for: Sub or borderline 300 light characters Good source of rep, 3oC, strange coins Chance at sparrows/emotes that some enjoy Highest chance at strike loot It's not a true end game activity at this point and the expectation that it is needs to be dropped.

Since they removed radiant light buff, there is pretty much no point.

First time I did it in a while & I actually wanted coins because of no sure way to get them. Asides grinding PoE for 2-3 per run or just a bunch of engrams.

It used to be a way to get an xp bonus for a week and a good chance for an exotic drop. Now it's a giant middle finger to those of us who remember it in year 1.

It will be to farm 335 strike specific gear in a week. Other than that, nothing.

Now days? If you want strike specific loot. They have a better chance Grinded the last one for an imagoo loop. Got 4 garbage rolls

The nightfall isnt end game content. Its to bridge the gap between intermediate and near endgame content. If youre a 318-320 doing the nightfall expecting a 320 drop your expectations are misplaced.

Play it for the rep. The post game reward is an extra. Also the chances for strike specific loot are greatly increased so that could be a reason too

Eh, small chance at exotics, you can get emotes,horns and junk if you dont buy em. Also great for strike exclusives. Just a slightly harder strike for slightly better rewards
