Have the Xbox destiny players been brainwashed to think ps exclusives are ok?
Why are no more Xbox gamers protesting against this or even acknowledging the ps exclusives? Sure they might be not the best weapons but so many people still want the exclusives and for some reason the gaming industry does not shame a company for selling out to a certain console. Xbox and play station gamers payed the SAME price for the game, so we should have equal content.
Play station exclusives in destiny are by no means right. ANY exlusoves for a game that is cross platform is not right Infact. This new sniper really opened my eyes towards this. As an Xbox player why should I keep supporting a game that doesn't even bother supporting my console?
If anyone is typing "You guys have halo STFU" think about that argument. We both payed for destiny so we should get equal content. You guys didn't have to pay for halo. And since your arguments are simply "halo" I could just say "blood borne stfu."
Exclusives that leave out players who then might quit should not be a thing in a game that is struggling to maintain its fan base right now.

No one is a fan of timed exclusives whether on the giving or receiving end. It's a dumb concept that does nothing but frustrate those without access. I'm saying this as someone that had a 360 most of last gen and a ps4 for a larger portion than xbo this gen. I've had access to everything and I still say it's utter BS when any combany does it.

1 AntwortenIt doesn't bother me too much. Complaining about it doesn't help because they keep adding more and more. It's really only hurting Bungie because players are just leaving without picking it up for a PS because they are upset at the "favoritism." And if Microsoft and Sony decided to actually unite the online platforms. (Unlikely) Destiny wouldn't work well because of the exclusives. So it really only hurts Bungie. I know the biggest arguement is that us Xbox players have to pay the exact same thing as a PS player, but we have to wait a year for the rest of the content. So our money doesn't go as far. And by the time we do get the content...it's useless and outdated.

I feel they've either left to not find or support this practice or are too afraid to speak out for fear of catching flak from people saying it's a fair business practice. I'm still here though, and I will never think it's something to be accepted.

NEWS FLASH: None of this is new. None of the arguments for or against ps exclusives are new. This has been going on since launch. People PLEASE find something new for your walls of text. Or better yet save that mess for your LiveJournal.

firstly: old topic is OLD. secondly: we've gotten used to it, and its par-for the course anyways: sometimes some consoles favor some games, for reasons beyond control (skyrim DLC taking so long to port to PS3's unique computationess, or just exclusive deals made behind the scenes long-ago, sealed behind legally binding contracts.) ultimately, though, its not that bad: a single strike and a pinch of exotics. some games have had worse.

It's called Microsoft not paying more than PlayStation for the exclusives, bungie didn't choose PlayStation for the lols, PlayStation payed them so they could get early content, thus making more people want to play on that console.
