I'll start
I'm currently a high school junior and starting to explore colleges that will suit my major: computer science/engineering. Right now I'm actually doing a dual enrollment program, which basically allows me to complete an associates degree at my nearby community college (Bellevue College) and my high school diploma at the same time.
So what colleges did you get accepted to? And what did you major in?
If you feel comfortable, can you also share the sat/act scores/gpa you got along with it?
Piece of advice. If you have a local community college go there for the first 2 years then transfer. You will cut your debt in half and will not be distracted by the campus life. All my friends that went away to a 4 year took 5 years to graduate and none of them use the degree they have in the field they chose. Best friend went for 5 years to get his conservation degree and now he works for a auto insurance company. He is $65k in debt for nothing. Just a thought but do what you want to do

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von xD King Rush Dx: 4/5/2016 6:07:01 AMI got into everywhere I applied to if I remember correctly. 4.3 GPA 30 ACT I went to a small school to play baseball and ended up staying. It's a great history program. Edit: I also did dual enrollment in high school, it was worth it. Currently trying to narrow down choices to apply for graduate school. My college GPA is like a 3.5 or so but my GPA in my major is higher

9 AntwortenI'm a freshman in high school but I've chosen to do engineering and do dual enrollment engineering during my junior and senior year but I've already chosen to go to Texas A&M (I live in Florida) instead of MIT because Going to Texas A&M would open up the possibility of getting into an undergraduate program with NASA Johnson Space Center. Things could change if the upcoming years but I doubt it as I stay consistent with my plans.
