I'm backing out every time...
Dear Bungie, whenever I join a game in progress, I'm gonna back out every time. I'm not gonna play through a 6v4 match where all three zones are capped by the other team, they've all got heavy machine guns, and Shaxx is yelling "FIGHT BACK" while I'm still flying in. I shouldn't have to suffer through someone else's defeat. So from now on, I'm backing out every single time.

I don't find it fun to receive somebody else's ass whoopin. I'll take my own freshly started ass kicking like a man, but I'm not just gonna walk 4-8 minutes late into somebody else's ass kicking and pretend it's a good time. I don't even know why I'm getting my ass kicked at that point.

How about you don't suck so your teammates don't rage quit on you? I almost never have people quit in the middle of my matches cuz I manage to always keep the score close. Your problems are not mine to solve.

I agree to a point. I'll back out if it happens multiple times but I can forgive having to join late a couple of times in one sitting. It is a great feeling if you help to turn a game like that around and win it!

Bearbeitet von too_lazy666: 4/2/2016 8:57:01 AMI've said this once and I'll say it again : add a pvp streak bonus just like in the strikes and things should improve, but make it start @3 or 4 wins or 6/8 loses, and it will be gone if you lost say 3/4 matches in a row too stop people from farming pvp like in doubles, this way the more you play, the better chances for drops, simple as that. To bad bungie doesn't listen much. Edited for better logic

Add in starting with 8 total players and the other team is a fireteam of 6... Such bull! The matchmaking should at least TRY to be more fair. If a match in progress is that bad, mercy rule. If 6 out of 8 players are teamed together, break up the lobby and find another team of 6 to pit them against. As much progress as Bungie has made with matchmaking, there is still a ton of room for improvement.

Getting dropped into a lopsided match sucks, but I always stick it out. A few times we have come back for the clutch win. It's pretty intense and adds some excitement. Some frustration too so I can see where you are coming from. Also dropping out will just jam some other poor bastard into the same mess and leave the few that are trying to struggle. Lag and piss poor connections are worse in my mind.

I think join in progress is necessary. Too many times in Halo I had to play out matches where our team was down by a man or two and I find that more infuriating than dropping into a losing team in a match.

I do agree that it's annoying but I still try to fight back. Just because I back out of a losing match in progress doesn't guarantee that I won't get added into another one. Also I don't think it's cowardly to hide when there's a couple of seconds left in the match because there's no point in fighting back if it's inevitable that you will lose

Totally agree with you, earlier while playing i seen we'd been totally destroyed, nothing new there lol, though i thought there was some kind of mercy rule, thing i was mad over was during game 3ppl left our team, early on and noone replaced them, already had 5 losses straight so not even medalion, still at least i finished some bounties, before that i left a game, only times i will is when the leading/top scorer takes no damage/on poor connection etc, not even a minute into it and it was clear, so after point blank emptying 4th horseman into him and his stupid (titan) raid helmet just to watch him absorb it then kill me i called my own 'mercy rule' out, felt bad for ppl left though. if i'd of been running with clan i guess we'd of just endured it and had a laugh etc, not much fun alone and that bs occurs though.
