I'm backing out every time...
Dear Bungie, whenever I join a game in progress, I'm gonna back out every time. I'm not gonna play through a 6v4 match where all three zones are capped by the other team, they've all got heavy machine guns, and Shaxx is yelling "FIGHT BACK" while I'm still flying in. I shouldn't have to suffer through someone else's defeat. So from now on, I'm backing out every single time.

I don't find it fun to receive somebody else's ass whoopin. I'll take my own freshly started ass kicking like a man, but I'm not just gonna walk 4-8 minutes late into somebody else's ass kicking and pretend it's a good time. I don't even know why I'm getting my ass kicked at that point.

How about you don't suck so your teammates don't rage quit on you? I almost never have people quit in the middle of my matches cuz I manage to always keep the score close. Your problems are not mine to solve.
Edit 2: Holy shit this thread is hot. I think I struck a nerve with everyone. And many of you seem to agree, thanks. But many of you disagree, and to you I say, go choke on a falafel chip.

Agreed. It's not fun, and it usually wrecks your stats. If it's anywhere close then it's a different story, but id rather not jump into a team that's getting steamrolled. Quitting a game where people already quit doesn't make the problem worse either, it simply stays the same. The initial quitter is still at fault.

I don't PVP because it's a garbage system that caters to specific guns and gear load outs. So back out all you want.

Normally means that you die when i give you a headshot with my sniper, you die when i start shooting you in your head first and i win that fight, that you die from a rocket exploding under your feet, that you die from my super and most important: that you don't see me at least 1 second earlier on your screen. I know this, when my bullets are not doing any damage and when it seems that i die from 1 Last Word bullet, 1 Mida bullet, 1 Doctrine bullet. (this means that on your screen you started shooting much earlier, but not on my screen).... If these things don't happen in a match.................then i say: BYE BYE!

Ill join a game and play just to see if i can get anything good...sure enough yesterday joined a game in progress with a friend and we lost... he got some gloves and i got a ship..

I leave to, I find it extremely annoying to join in progress and immediately be shot with heavy or a super

i leave a lot when there is simply no point. which is often. i joined a game literally solo once. Especially when you're coins are full. There's no point playing. Sometmes i don't mind but often a win is way out of reach. I'll stay if i need coins or i'm already rank 5. Granted i'm rank 5 on all three and can't get a decent package drop or post game legendary weapon for my life.

Would not mind so much if it kept me in the group for the next match.

I completely agree, I'm playing to have fun and get rewards, not to get spawn killed and decimated by people with lmgs.

4 Antwortendrop outs are always bitches, regardless of whether or not they started from the begining of the match or half way through. it's not bungies fault that people want to quit to keep their stats looking good, there should be a stat to show how many times people quit so we can all see how many guardians go to war in a skirt.
