Hunters only Oryx challenge mode kill.
I have an idea for a new challenge within the Oryx challenge mode. Defeat Oryx only using Hunters, without using the Touch of Malice.
Two on Ogre duty up top on the sister platforms. Scout of your choice and Sniper of your choice. Plate holders tether their Ogres, then Wombo Combo them. That is Vortex grenade and venom smoke bomb at the same time, it will keep them stopped in their track and damage them over time while tethered. They then snipe their Knight cross map and immediately kill their own adds via Rocket Launcher as soon as they spawn. The Guys up top snipe the 4th Knight easily enough. Then everyone meets at the center once the runner gets there. Snipers and scouts work well enough for staggering Oryx.
I always switch to Red Death for the shade part. Rinse and repeat.

Have both the Doom of Chelchis and the raid sniper to use during bomb detonation phase(cocoon helps with reloading) Edit: The runner can take the hit from the vessel, aslong as he/she blocks with the sword.

3 AntwortenThis isn't challenging at all, I've dealt with adds from the top without a bubble many times. And tether Ogres if you must but it is certainly not needed.

3 AntwortenYou can stagger oryx with anything. Touch just simplifies things. Hell if you wanted, stagger him with sleeper, and use a triple tap sniper for ogres and knights. It's all just coordination.

7 AntwortenUse quiver with snare it stays until the ogres trigger it. You have plenty of time to kill the ogre before it's gone :)

"Use tether on ogre" that's one of the only definite rules of running platforms. Never use tether/nova/FoP on it. Huh

6 AntwortenProblem with twthering while on the platform? The platforms the relic runner jumps on resets everytime you step off the platforms. Unless the timing is perfect you risk the chance of your relic runner falling through and dying.
