So yesterday I came home from work hoping to get a lot of the daily reset things done such as the nightfall, weekly heroic ect. I got my phone out to check email just in case and had the destiny forums up which piked my interest. I came across a dude that was looking for a group to do Crota on hard and I knew he would get crapped on because it was the wrong forum but I thought to myself "I still need the Crux so might as well join". So I messaged him on PSN and he was glad to have me and I assumed he had a whole fireteam but it was just him by himself. I'm not the best Destiny player so I was like "oh God why". Next thing you know we're against Crota and it took a couple of tries but needless to say we did it yet no Crux for us. Anyway, usually I would get on my way but he asked me what we should do next. So I ask about the nightfall and we recruited some low light level dude from the tower. We passed the nightfall and shot the crap until iron banner came out. I've never played iron banner on a fireteam so it was pleasing to see how many matches we managed to win. It was such a good feeling. Usually I come home from work do the daily, play some random game and then sleep, rinse and repeat but because I did something different I wound up with 2 new buddies. Tl;dr thanks Bungie for making such an awesome game that makes these kinds of experiences possible
