Factoring in human environmental damage, we've already functionally ruined massive swathes of the planet. If we keep things going at the rate we are, the world will be a dessicated husk soon.

Planet earth is looking pretty green to me. And you are aware the planet earth and its atmosphere can wait! Wait for it! Regulate itself!!! No way! Planet earth can heal by breaking down natural components?!?!? Omg dude w0w. Even toxic nuclear waste has a half life before it begins to break itself down into elements again
-
Yes, but that process is being handicapped by humanity. Even as radioactive waste is breaking down, we're dumping more, or pouring things into the ocean that are killing things off faster than they can recover.

Youre telling me that these little things no bigger than 7 feet tall can kill a relatively gigantic planet!!! Whoah. These humans must be pretty fkin badass to kill something as big as a Whole planet
-
We've done a pretty damn good job of, if not killing it, screwing it up so badly that it'll take centuries if not more to recover. And if humans keep breeding at the rate they are, while their lifespans keep growing, then we'll leave the planet uninhabitable for a very long time.

I think il stick to my knowledge of chemistry and how chemicals and waste break down and keep on breeding
