The perfect crucible meta...

Ok, let's have a chat on what I believe would be the perfect meta for crucible would be, for all gamemodes... I will be talking about three different areas of balancing. 1. Subclass balance, 2. Ammo balancing and 3. Weapons balancing. Lets start with subclass balancing. Ok, subclasses, in my opinion are in a very good spot right now. Striker and Sunbreaker titans are an excellent choice for rushing and warrioring. Their subclass perks support the intended playstyle well. Defenders are in a good spot as well, however they are shunned upon because their super doesn't appeal to most players. Hunters are in a pretty good spot too. They are versitile and swift, as intended. Hunters are well balanced with the three subclasses being equally oftenly used, because they prompte interesting and versitile play styles. Hunters boast some unique abilities that can greatly benefit certain playstyles if used effectively. E.g shadestep, Gunslingers throwing knife ability and bladedancers unique movement. Warlocks are also in a excellent position within this meta. They promote offensive playstyles that allow players to make pushes and challenges. Warlocks are ideal for some situations, eg winning gunfights, but worse in other areas. Sunsingers are a very good support class and offensive class. Voidwalkers provide different opportunities for challenging gunfights, and stormcallers have a strong super that makes up for their below average neutral game. The reason you see all of these classes used so oftenly equally is because they are all balanced and promote different play styles that can suit a variety of situations. In conclusion the current subclass meta is ideal. 2. Ammo balancing Primary ammo no issue , let's get that out of the way quickly. Special ammo, was good right when ttk launched. People had a limited amount and you had to be cautious how you used it. It is good in all the current gamemodes except in 3's. The lack of special ammo in 3's promotes a more campy playstyle where no one challenges. The lack of special has also brang about new exploits that weren't used before just because people are so desperate for special ammo. Special ammo wod be good as it was at trk launch. Now heavy ammo, probably the biggest problem. There is no wonder why heavy is banned in sweats and such. Heavy is overpowered and provides an overwhelming advantage, for all gamemodes. Heavy ammo ruins the flow of the game and crucible wod benefit without it. Fixing the special ammo crutch and removing heavy ammk would overall balance the crucible more. And lastly... Weapons... Ok, this section is VERY opinionated, don't call me an idiot or anything because you too are entitled to your own opinion, as I am. In my opinion, the perfect weapon balance meta, was the year one thorn, sniping shotguns and 111 tlw meta. Why? Let me explain. Ok, do you guys realise what is wrong with the meta now? That's right, NO ONE CHALLANGES. Everyone camps and baits. Overall it makes for a super slow paced game. Remember in year one? Even if the guns were "overpowered", if you executed a push well, you could surprise your opponent and make for a quick clean up, unlike the bs baiting into corners, 3 minute gunfights like you see now. If you excecuted a push well, you were rewarded with a few easy kills, however , if you were caught off guard, you were dead. Even if it was an annoying meta, it was fast paced, and I believe that's what people want. In year one, snipers were rewarded for good angles and positioning, smart people who challenged were rewarded with fast "if I make the first move ill win" gunfights, and shotgunners were rewarded for making smart use of their range. IN MY OPINION, this was the best weapons meta. But hey, if they buffed the autos and pulses to were they are now, you would see at least a bit more weapon diversity... Combine these three and think just how much better the crucible would be. There would be diversity of subclasses, quick, fast paced game play that would reward smart players and more flowing and balanced gameplay with the removal of heavy ammo. Also remember guys that this is coming from a very solid crucible player (currently top #180 in the world). I am very familiar with all of the crucible metas and I have a wide knowledge of the genaral crucible. Anyway guys, thanks for reading.
