Why do you play video games
I play them because I know I'll never be a hero in real life, so I pretend to be one on a game.

1 AntwortenI really don't know. It was a good way to escape the bullshit I usually have to deal with, but now it always ends up getting me angrier than I was beforehand. So basically, I'm just wasting my life getting pissed off at shit that doesn't matter and I'm just letting everything that does matter pass me by.

Another form of entertainment. As long as it has an immersive atmosphere and an appealing goal, from gaining sweet loot or saving the universe, I'll enjoy it.

Because I don't have much a life outside of them. Wtf else am I suppose to do with my life? Go hangout with the friends I don't have? Go drink tap water at a bar (I refuse to drink alcohol)? Video games are pretty much the only thing I'm able to do with my time. Not saying I don't like them but compared to everything else they are simply the best alternative.

2 AntwortenTo escape reality really and have fun, I mean tv for the most part bored the shit out of me and I like to be active, I can't jog 24/7 or work out etc all the time so I spend my spare time on games where my brain is kept active and can just have fun

3 AntwortenThere are so many ways to be a hero in real life. A real hero is someone who puts others before themself..... a lot of times it's the little things that matter most as those are the things that end up defining our character. All imo tho As for video games, I play then because they are my choice of entertainment. Not really into tv or sports. Would rather be gaming when I have spare time to enjoy! Reading and weight lifting is awesome too.
