What is so good about the spindle?
Everyone wants you to have the spindle for the raid. I don't get it. I know it has high impact but is that the only reason? None of the perks seem to helpful. Do you guys know?

The white nail perk gives it the highest DPS in the game (excluding ToM in the aura of infinite)

During damage phases you'll easily save 6-8 seconds not reloading your sniper

Never having to reload during boss dps so you can one phase warpriest or 2 phase golgoroth with it...

Basically, not everybody is a fast and competent sniper. So the bs perk allows for guys that may be slower on dps with other snipers, to easily chain shots without reload and empty a mag into the boss. That said, bs can absolutely be out gunned in certain situations with legendaries with similar impact. I see weapons like spindle, tom, sleeper etc, as high damage 'easy mode' weapons placed in the game to assist those who need the extra help with dps. Im not saying thats a bad thing either! If youre a decent player though, you dont need them. I have a 320 tom, and i barely use it, unless on ogre duty. And even then id rather be on a plate using a mida/sniper/mg combo or a zhallo or whatever. Same with spindle, pull it out at golgoroth or to wreck a tank/walker etc. Situational, not neccesity.

Those people are just dumb, you can kill things just as fast with a 1000 yard stare, people just don't like reloading which takes about as much time as in between a black spindle shot, and I like black spindle.

In the end, the y1 legendaries were victorious but with great costs. It took the life of commodore Fatebringer and mighty king gjallarhorn. As the y2 ushered in swifty. Chief Black Hammer died from his injuries. His wife, fang of iryut gave birth to black spindle, this child was to be the successor of chief black hammer. However since black spindle grew up without his father, black spindle was not given the gift of infinite ammo, a power that each chief needs to pass down to their offspring to continue the ancient tradition. When chief black hammer died The ancient knowledge died with him. Ending the line of hammer. Leaving black spindle unable to be as powerful as his dead father. Stories say that one day, chief black spindle will attain the ancient knowledge again and teach it to his children, no time to explain and touch of malice. Omfg, let me tell you what you did wrong with this post 1. [i]~name[/i] - no. Just no. 2. Black spindle actually DOES have good perks do your research next time 3. Black spindle allows to to shoot without reloading if you hit all three shots to the precision. This is extremely effective on warpreist and ESPECIALLY Golgoroth. Question answered

1 AntwortenO I prefer 320 1k 320 sleeper u do way more damage that way but yea I have a 320 spindle but I use 1k/sleeper combo qith weapons.and tether I do 160,000+ per sleeper shot x 9 shots thats 1.4 million in damage on Golgoroth not including my 320 1k stare that has casket mag 5 rounds so yup black spindle isnt the best weapons for warpriest n golgoroth

If you can keep hitting consecutive precision shots, it's a monster. Warpriest and Golgoroth both have large weak points that you can easily hit multiple times in a row. It's also the highest impact sniper class.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von chrisandsheva: 3/23/2016 3:47:43 PMIt's good, the right 1000 yrd can be just as though, ie triple tap/casket mag, 8 shots before reload IF precision, so yeah, kinda dumb requirement, anyone know why spindle has TK emblem on but ship (vienna singer) has the DB one? i find that a little strange, prob a mistake as doubt they'd hold out on a silly ship. sorry, meant to add obviously IF get 8 shots thats just about right time to grab defenders weapons o light, though haven't tried putting 24! on from one weapon o light, might be possible?.

3 AntwortenBest for Golgoroth: You're very close, can't miss, short time of dps. I tried 1kys + SGA/SS, doesn't Even come close. For warpriest, i actually prefer the stock vendor 1kys. Less recoil, fast reload (even faster with gloves), better scope, much better handling.

High impact and lots of damage, if you don't miss a shot and land all precisions, the clip is refilled for you so you can just keep on shooting. The Black Spindle is very useful for Warpriest and Golgoroth. :)

High Impact for more damage, it does the best damage in pve, and you dont have to waste time reloading in those critical DPS moments

It's absolutely uncontested at golgoroth unless you have a 1k stare with triple tap, casket mag and spray and pay, and if you have that roll on a 1k stare you are only close to the dps of a spindle. It does 140k per shot with weapons of light and tether at golgoroth. So 18 rounds of continuous DPS is going to do 2,520,000. That's 2.52 million damage in a single bubble at golgoroth. If you have more sniper ammo perk on your armour, you are looking at 3,329,388 straight uninterrupted dps at golgoroth.

Highest impact in the game, 3 precision hits refresh the mag instantly, basically, it's like 18 continuous rounds of high impact snipers ammo into a boss, back in year one, it just generated the ammo out of nothing, so it was literally continuous damage

High sustained burst DPS. Warpriest and Golgeroth have timers to do damage. The more damage you can do in that time, the faster the boss will go down. Nothing does it better than the spindle if you can land consistent criticals. Outside of the raid, it is just another high impact sniper.

Has anyone else noticed that mulligan will occasionally proc even when you land the shot? So you get 4 rounds before white nail procs

Its great for raid. Not worth exotic slot for anything else
