Golden gun needs buff damage in pve
I will say I am a hunter.
I'm not salty or ranting.
3 shots on a level 16 on a red health colossus (I'm level 40 and light 300) left him with just under a 1/3 of his health...it felt that my scout rifle did more damage!
Anyone find this ridiculous???
Edit: many say bladedancer, Nova bomb and Fist of havoc also need a buff, I completely agree
Edit: people still post so why not. Celestial nighthawk is the only way to go. I'm sure not all people have it though, plus, do we have to wear a specific exotic do be able to do anything?

3 AntwortenGolden gun is perfectly fine with celestial nighthawk. What really needs a buff is blade dancer in pve. It is the one completely useless super in the game.

The three shots are absolutely horrendous as they are and in my opinion Celestial Nighthawk sucks too still. It honestly doesn't even over penetrate well as it never activates for me even though I line them up PERFECTLY. They should do what I mentioned above OR: Let the golden gun subclass be able to create amazing super energy again off their swam grenades but ONLY for PvE. It was abused in PvP but there is nothing wrong with letting a shit super like GG in PvE get their super every 30 seconds to wipe out a couple of trash mobs and generate some orbs.

It needs a buff a general, no class should be able to tank a golden shot! I thought bungie was looking into all the subclasses like they did for Titan?

PvP it's great. PvE it's awful without Celestial Nighthawk. And even then, you only get one shot.

Yeah hopefully the new update will increase damage for all supers on pve.

Completely agree. GG is well balanced in crucible IMO, but in pve it's just a crap fest of a subclass

I agree, gunslinger just can't compete with Nightstalker in anyway (pve). It's in a good spot for PvP but the subclass is just a joke in everything else

6 AntwortenAnd somehow, bungie will find a way to break that super in pvp. Come on, think about it. How many times has bungie had to go back and patch something five times over cause they over buffed it or nerfed it too much because they cant think a logical and well balanced manner?

1 AntwortenLast night, iscrewed around exploiting a glitch in the DH, where Tsugoth just kept spawning over and over. used 13 3oCs and got two exotic in a matter of 5 minutes. thats not relevant to this post, but what i discovered while doing it is relevant: i was running GG and testing the damage output. a head shot at point plank range with GG does 450 damage, while a headshot from my 320 Chapperone did as much as 479 damage. Wait. What? The chapperone is more powerful than the GG? yup. Now thats just dumb.

I'd have to agree. Celestial Nighthawk doesn't do an king of significant damage to any current level boss anymore

yup. all of this. throw a Novabomb at the Hallowed Knights at the totem. it barely tickles them. doesnt FEEL super at all. GG is only decent for PvE with the Nighthawk helmet, and even then its not so "super".

2 AntwortenLiterally all that needs to be done for Golden Gun is grant it precision damage. This would not effect the Crucible, as it one-shots players anyway, and it would increase its viability in PvE.
