What a lot of people don't know is long swords are to slow for combat. Most duels end in 4-8 swings or stabs. The best option is rapier, it goes through armor easy and is pretty durable ish for what it does. It's not limb tearing but it can immobilize your target to the point of death.

It didn't cut through the arm size branches in one strike. But it was well made. By that I mean better than I expected.

Mace is not a sword I prefer a using double short swords or if I could only use one sword a hand in a half sword would be nice
