Taken shader and Y2 PoE coming in April.
At least that's what it looks like based on the picture in the weekly update.
I know tons of people have been asking for a taken shader, ever since seeing the "taken" ghost. I like it.
Also, the picture shows a hunter, titan, and warlock all wearing PoE gear.
Looks like some of of that left behind content may be coming back. (Yay)
Moment of silence to commemorate Bungie for giving the first real piece of info since the dinosaurs walked the Earth.

You know how I am about shaders man. Lol. A lot of the joy I get is equipping a new shader and cycling through all of my gear and seeing how each shader effects each armor piece.

2 AntwortenWhat if..... The picture shows a new boss? 3 taken guardians take on your fire team which they have difrent abilitys.... Imagine you fight against a defender taken Titan,a taken Nightstalker hunter and a taken warlock Voidwalker..... And if one of them dyes the other 2 gets stronger and gains another subclass ....like in dark souls ornstein and smough!!! Example: we kill the Voidwalker first and the Nightstalker can use then Bladedancer invisible Or the defender gains the fist of havik And the last one gets all the subclasses..... Imagine a last man warlock who can resurect and have a nova bomb and the storm trance abilities ...... It's just an idea but it would be cool to fight against other corrupted/taken guardians Sorry for bad English

ALL of that is just the removed y1 content, it is nothing special, new or worth celebrating. The bar Bungie has set is just that freak'n low!!! They have us begging for our y1 time and effort to be respected like they said it would, and for the game to have all the content to be relevant. So many barriers blocking content out of year2. There are [b]tons[/b] of greats ideas from the community that Bungie could use for new content. And if Bungie was good, they could come up with their own ideas for great new content. Oh yay! Free shit that I already played for like 8 months straight! Recycled much? It will become obsolete anyway most likely knowing bungie. I wanted this game to succeed but after a year and a half I just can't support this job anymore. This community has given so much great feedback and bungie hesitates or wants us to pay for it. I could go on a huge rant rn but I just don't want to waste my time doing this. Knowing desticles I'll just be attacked anyway.

And what about all the other ones in the vendor that simply don't drop? Oh yeah they just figured out they don't drop in February though they've been in the vendor since the start of TTK. That's doesn't cost silver though so that won't be fixed

7 AntwortenThis is how you know Destiny lacked content, replayability, and other things. If you break down thaf announcement it doesn't actually include much. People are acting like this is the saving grace, highly doubtful. TTK was supposed to be WOW. But it was blah. And also it's not a free update, it was included with TTK. Which will hopefully justify the price.

Not a shader simply because the class item matches! No class item matches the shaders, plus the armor is PoE. It's almost certainly new gear, but their probably will be shaders too.

Judging by that update, it could mean two different things. 1. There is a year 2 version of the PoE armour which is taken themed. The boss enemy will be a taken fallen. 2. They are allowing us to bring forward year 1 armour. The colouring is just a shader, which is unlikely due to the lens glare.

I seriously hope there's more than that. I hated PoE yr1 and only ever did it for the etheric light, and now that that's useless there's no incentive for me to ever run it again. Taken shader looks cool though.
