Today is the make it or break it update
And they have to deliver.
I don't care, they can't keep dragging us along like this and thinking we'd be interested after so many months of non transperency.
See the twitch streams? How low the views were? Everyone in the chat was starving for new content. You know why we are continually farming Omnigul? To pass the time and hopes to get a god roll Grasp of Malock. It's the only content right now that's been interesting lol. But here's to hoping.
But this update either will be a make or break. If it's the break, well I guess I'll continue playing Witcher 3. I hope there's hope in the news of upcoming content. Cause I don't think my friends and I are gonna wait another 3 months for new content.
Anyone else agree?
Edit* Wow we are trending. Cozmo replied to my post this is awesome! Also thank you for showing us some exciting news that there's more stuff to come! And for replying to my post! And thank you for reassuring us that there is still exciting content to look forward too.

1 AntwortenNah dude, today ain't the day. We all want it to be the day. I want information. I know you do. There is no make or break for me. Gonna log on and play some Destiny later, finish some gunsmith bounties. If it's still a ghost town like it's been since the Division released, I might play some Bloodborne or Broforce or something after a while. Bungie is an odd fvckin duck of a company. The only way to stay sane about it is to realize that I have no control over their timeframe. Therefore, today's update probably...realistically...won't mean shit. Expectations set to nil makes for a far more enjoyable Update for me.

While I think they need to deliver at least news, you'll be back next week checking if they do t give it today. They don't owe you shit. Play the division in between destiny updates no need to be some selfish, demanding and entitled prick.

3 AntwortenNo, I completely disagree. I'm not going anywhere and neither are you. In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing you back next week with a similar post and response. New content is coming. If you need something to do while you wait for it then I'd recommend The Division or Fallout. There's nothing wrong with having multiple games in your library that you play.

2 AntwortenI totally agree! I also have lost all faith and hope in Bungie folks like DeeJ and Cozmo. I would strip DeeJ of the community manager title since he does nothing to communicate with the community. It feels like a cold war Russia stereotype, "The community doesn't know what they want, only DeeJ knows what the community wants!" Bungie is so afraid of setting any hard dates and letting anything else go because they want the buffer in order to change things if stuff doesn't go as planned. I don't know about any of you but its sad to see a company like this be that afraid and untrusting of their designers and developers. Destiny will be a short time in my life where I had a lot of fun, but sadly it has come to an end, just like every other game. The sad thing is that Destiny was one of the few games I have ever played in my entire life that could have been the absolute best. From the crisp sound design to the awesome graphics to the lighting, also the feel and trigger pull of every gun. Even though people are starved for a proper announcement Bungie is taking its sweet time. This is what happens as soon as small companies get big. They get so big that they loose what made them an awesome company to begin with. It is with a heavy heart that I see this game get left behind but there will be others. I think what keeps people begging for more is that they don't think there will be a game quite with the same caliber this game has, but honestly if Bungie doesn't want to deliver then the rest of the world will not wait for them.

1 AntwortenIf the update's [b][i]significant[/i][/b] light level increase is a 10-20 bump and we only get new modifiers for existing content it will be a disaster. The significant light level increase must be at least a 25-50% increase. All raids plus PoE must now drop new weapons up to the max level. I'm ok if they remove the elemental damage on primary weapons if they are too incompetent to figure out how to make it work. Hopefully they learn from these mistakes, especially the really big ones, and make Destiny 2 the game we all thought it would be. If not, I'm sure there are companies right now working hard on games that deliver this and much more.

11 AntwortenBruh, if people still keep thinking they are gonna tell us something then you all must have lots of half full glasses of water. Face it, they're up the creek with no paddles and huge gaping hole. They have nothing to tell us because they have no content to show us. They're just stringing us along till their staff can slap some crap together and peddle to us saying they've been "working on it for a while". The only thing this update will have are some smartass comments from a crappy community chump manager, some crappy video which will once again show no lag, because there is no lag in Destiny, and then "see you next week derps, thanks for paying our bills for another week."

If they told me this week that the next content drop is in August I'd be a lot less happy than if they waited 3 more weeks to tell me it's in May, that's for damn sure. Anyway, prediction: Today they will announce a twitch stream next week that will reveal the next update. Source: I'll be out of the country without reliable internet so that is the most logical time for them to do it. Edit: God damn it, I was right. Well, be sure to let me know what happens in the stream next week, lol.

Or don't come back. Live your life, man. Judging by your grimoire score, I'm guessing you've deleted/restarted characters multiple times and you have well over a 1000 hours in this game. I think you got your money's worth...

It's too late for me I feel. I keep getting on these forums (maybe out of habit at this point) hoping they say some mind-shattering thing. But to be honest, I don't even know what that could even be. They can introduce year 2 Gally, and I won't care. They can nerf or buff whatever they want. Matchmake this...skill or connection? It's gotten to the point where we are actually BEGGING BUNGIE to rehash content. Are you really gonna replay VOG? You're really gonna regrind Crota or PoE? Really? I like to pretend like I am...but I am not. Not for what they call "drops" these days. I'll still tread the forums hoping for something great, but my gaming time is already spent elsewhere. I won't come back for ANY content. It's gotta be worth pulling me away now. I won't do it "just because it's Destiny" anymore. That ship has sailed for me. I know other people don't care, and maybe BUNGIE doesn't care. But you shouldn't care...BUNGIE SHOULD. I choose to let my play hours do most of the talking for me (most lol). I encourage many of you that want change to do the same.
